Not being a smart ass but what did welding up the chamber indicator provide as a improvement?
No crap blown up on the optic.
-
One thing I did additionally was have the loaded chamber indicator welded shut and blended. BIG difference!

Global Ordnance screwed me I'm out.

Have you shot it? How does it feel compared to the Xcalibur mk12?
Mark s
It's the softest shooting 9 I've ever shot. And I have a MK 12.

They don't have them period except for the Burris/Vortex and Shield RMS that come w the gun.
-
Bought one of these from Global Ordnance (one of the first they say).
The ad on their website originally said it came with an optic plate for the RMR etc., it did not and the website has since been changed. No competition shooter should buy this gun. They did offer me a full refund, but would have rather had the gun.

I see on their ordering system that they provide lower power RSA springs, but they couple those with lower power striker springs. I see 15-24# supported by them?
In an email they told me they don't support less than a 20.

Galloway Precision only supports 20 lb and heavier recoil springs. WTH?

Wolff. It worked fine, but since I made that post, I’ve gone back to the stock recoil spring assembly. After putting a couple thousand rounds through the gun with it installed, the stock assembly has broken in nicely and I’m actually really pleased with how the gun shoots now.
My thoughts as well.

I’m running a Springer Precision full length guide rod for the P320 with a 15# Commander length recoil spring. This has run well for me, but I’m noticing a little muzzle dip when the goes back into battery, so I’m going to get a 14 and a 13# spring and give those a try. The thing is so soft shooting its taking me a while to get used to it.
Wolff or IMSI?

Anyone know the total weight with empty mag of rival-s with w74 tung rod? Well use gun in idpa.
What other options are there. I saw someone mention x5 steel guid rods work. Mainly looking to change spring weights. Not so much add weight to the gun.
Tungsten guide rod is not IDPA legal.

I have a Black Scorpion holster for my SFX that worked on my poly Rival. It's thin Kydex and the heat gun/hot water trick may work on it. My double Kydex RHT holster may present a bit more of a challenge.
RHT makes one for the Rival S.
