  1. Stage 8 was all laser for me. I believe it was also my only top 50 finish, so ignoring my Eotech for a stage seems to have been the ticket. By having to chose between reloading my shotgun or transferring to pistol I left even more time on the table with Stage 8. Xrail, anyone? The Colt rifle on Stage 1 was a dream. As a lefty, most other stage guns had me wishing for my own, but that Colt. Mmmm.
  2. That's interesting. Your AR10 has firing pin springs? Armalite AR-10s indeed have firing pin springs. They have a very small one inside the end of the bolt. My AR-10 doesn't like some of the harder primers in combination with the Timney trigger I have installed. I can't use Magpul's .308 mags, but I do get a firing pin spring.
  3. My Comp-Tac designed for a G34/G35 & Streamlight TLR-1 works with the Railmaster Pro that we were sent. It actually draws smoother with the CT combo than the TLR-1 due to the sharp edges on the Streamlight's 'coin' screw head dragging on the Kydex.
  4. The difference is that any rounds after the 8+1 have to be loaded ON the clock. Loading rounds 10-12 after the buzzer is deemed no different from a competitive standpoint than shooting the tube down to 6 and then loading rounds 7-9 on the clock. In fact, for proper function, the heavier spring tension in a longer tube can hinder loading those last few rounds and is rarely worth it for me to have such a front-heavy gun that is difficult to maneuver around props. -Bill
