  1. Ended up going to see the Vet yesterday. He prescribed some prednisone for my elbow. I'm definitely gonna try the rubber band trick too! Thanks a Lot!
  2. It's no fun to shoot with constant pain!!!!! :angry2: :angry2:
  3. I've been using the I-shot Gurkha backpack. The overall design is very nice. Several different zippered compartments make hauling your gear to the range or match very easy. The lower front compartment is perfect for your mags, and the compartment just behind it, works well for spare parts and range tools. There is a removal Velcro pouch in the main compartment that holds two pistols. Plus, there is handy little compartment located on the lower backside of the bag which holds your ammunition. Overall, I'm impressed with the design of the bag, but... after you put your eyes, ears, timer, and any other equipment you may need at the range, the bag becomes extremely full. I really like lugging my equipment in a backpack, but it would've been nice if it was a bit larger.
  4. I agree, more people enjoy dry firing than you think. Dry firing can be so relaxing. I dry fire at least three or four times a week, about 30 to 45 minutes each session. Trust me, the pro's didn't become as good as they are without some serious dry-firing!
  5. This was my first season shooting USPSA, and I shot only SSTK. Shooting single stack is definitely a challenge. My question is, how do you guys resist the urge from trying another division? I shot about 15 matches this season and I've got this crazy urge to purchase a limited setup for next season. I'm afraid it could be a never ending cycle!
  6. I've been shooting SS also!!! I'm having a blast with the skinny gun, and I completely agree, the cost of .45 is ridiculous! I'm actually going to start reloading this winter to cut cost. Also thinking about changing to a 40 to save a few dollars. It really stinks that the season is pretty much over. Train hard over the winter months. Hopefully I'll see you at a local match in the spring. Brett
  7. Mark, I'm in NOVA as well! I started shooting USPSA matches in July and have been seriously hooked ever since. The sport is extremely addictive! What division are you shooting? Brett
  8. Hello I'm Brett, and I started shooting USPSA in June of this year and have been hooked ever since. I shot three matches in production and then decided to shoot Single Stack. I'm going to stick with Single Stack for a while and climb from there. I'm going to train hard over the winter months and use the knowledge and experience on this forum to be a serious contender next season. See you guys around.
  9. Limcat pistols are by far the best looking out there. I've heard nothing but good things about Johnny Lim. She is a beauty!!!
  10. How long did it take Limcat to do? That sure is a beautiful gun!
