I must say this was a fantastic crew!!! To show up a little over an hour late with two of my buddies from Chicago and still be able to shoot the match was just awesome. Thanks to David Ball for taking the time to help us get caught up and thanks to the squad for giving me sh_t about going to the wrong range (Atlanta)
Next time I will double check where the match is and not assume it was at the same place as last year
Great match, fun stages, awesome staff, beautiful day to shoot, and a great squad - PRICELESS !!
See you guys in Michigan (if I can find the range)

I tried both N105 ans 4756 in my Pro SX. Settled on 7625. Much easier to load because it is more dense and it is very consistant at all temp ranges in south Louisiana.
Scooter, what bullet, weight and amount of powder do you use for the ProSX in 7625 and is it the 5 inch or 4.5 inch Brazos that you have?

I'm all in...just got my slot!!!
Life is good....
Jeff, does this mean you are driving down with Cam???
-
Thanks for the reply SRT, you know how it is with the rumor mill. I prefer a trophy
and cash payback
vs. a prize table anyway. Gives me something to shoot for. Looking forward to the match, see you there.

Z-man, there has been a lot of talk about this off the board. Nobody helping with the match, no prize table, no sponsors, etc. I agree, the stages do look like fun but if you look at the self squadding on the USPSA website you will note the match still has 75 open slots
but I will still be there to shoot it and have fun!

Don't worry about it, old guys like Newbie get tired after 6 stages anyway!
Get it right Cam, it's 5 stages now
especially after I just found out that I'm going to be a Grandpa at 43!!
See you at the match, I'll be the guy with the walker.

Hey Dave, no biggie, I was just playing around. I look forward to the 1/2 day format and the drive on over. It will be nice to drive over, shoot and go back home. The wife likes it when I spend at least one day with her on the weekend
Go Cubs!
BTW - don't come on our stage without a gun ever again
Only Cub fans are allowed!!

Newbie,
Maybe we should change your name to "greedy"
OK Cam, or should I change your name to Mr. 4th place Kentucky State finisher
-
Only 7 stages????
only 153 round count???
9 round stages???
Isn't this going to create backups???
Am I missing something???
I guess I'm just comparing with the Kentucky match I just shot.... 10 stages
I need more trigger time!!
-
Stupid, question, if you won a trophy
but was not there to get it, how do you go about getting it?? Thanks!
-
looking forward to it Cam!!!!

Thank you all for your comments, I am looking forward to going
. I happen to be on vacation that week in Arizona by some chance of fate
This should be a blast Thomas!!!
-
Has anyone been to this match before? Is it worth the $235 match fee? This has to be the highest Area match fee I have seen
Any comments would be appreciated, thanks!

Shooting Limited, I hope I remember how to use iron sights

Have a great trip Dave. I just want you to know I have Phoenix envy!
Dave, what are you doing in the Phoenix area? My wife and I are leaving for Arizona in about 4 hours for a 9 day vacation
. We have a second home in Casa Grande
, it would have been awesome if we could have gotten together to go a match over the weekend or offered you a place to stay while in Arizona since you were kind enough to offer me a spot at your place for the Berm Aid match. Hope you have as much fun as we do while your there.

stages 5 & 7 look evil, but yet challenging.
Bring your "A" game . . . or "M" game, as it were . . .
I'll bring my "C" game Dave

AAAAHHHHH, I see Newbie has volunteered to build all the props!!!!

Tenativly, the 2006 Michigan sectional will be held on Sunday, August 13th at the Raccoon Hunters Club in Romulus. This will be a Sunday only format, limited to the first 100 competitors. This will be a "No Frills" sectional because we are hosting the Targeting Education match just 2 weeks prior.
Details to follow.

I have a Brazos on order now and it will be ready in June. I ordered a Pro SC open gun. I'm sure I'll build a brother limited gun for this as well...
Funny thing Pete, I ordered the ProSX Custom and tacked on the Custom Limited as well and got them both last summer
but have not been able to put the ProSx down to shoot the Limited gun yet
It's never been shot, just sitting in the safe packed in oil

It was nice to put some faces to the names on the board.
Rick, it was nice working with you, Mike and the other guys. You did a great job as an RO and I would have no problem recommending you for larger matches.
I hope to see you again
-John
John, it was great to see you and Jeff again. You guys are really fun to be around. I look forward to seeing you guys when I come up for the Michigan matches. I take my hat off to to Perry, Dan and the whole staff, they did a great job putting this match together. We had a great time and it felt good to take a 1st place plaque home.

Don't worry Dave, we would not have left you out. Besides, I sent you an email on the majors I was planning!
Joe, nice avatar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know Cam, just giving Tom some crap
-
newbie, who are you? please put your name in your preferences.
The guy that you shot with at Nationals and almost all your majors last year. The guy that you had plenty of opportunity to yell at (and rightfully deserved). That should be enough information for you to figure out.

Just signed up!!!
Thanks for letting me know Cam and Tom......

I think I'll drive my hot rod to the match from Chicago
though I don't think I'll have enough room for all my crap! ![:(](//content.invisioncic.com/r270761/emoticons/default_sad.png)
