  1. Can't find Federals, so I have been using Winchester SP.  Have not had any issues with WSP, plus they come packaged so that you dont have to shake them to get them all facing in the right direction.

think people are starting to hoard again with the election coming up... will get worse if HRC wins...

  2. Good tip to remember.  I am getting a dillion 1050 soon and coming from a Hornady press.  Did Dillon give you any info on what they considered normal deviation amounts with their powder measure?  My Hornady powder charge would meter ball powder pretty well, but it could deviate by +/- 0.1gr on my 9mm loads.  I usually use W231/HP 38 with 4.5 grain loads.

  3. Have 2 M&P 9MM for IDPA. One has the Apex semi-fit barrel. Just got a G34 slide on a Lone Wolf frame that I am starting to use a bit more. May put an optic on the G34....

Regarding the AR/AK/Semi-auto rifle ban, our Attorney General made a "new interpretation" of the MA AWB ban and overnight unilaterally declaired these illegal weapon... She stated she wont prosecute current owners of AR/AK's, but she reserves the right to change her mind...

MA legislature has her back.... Not a great place for gun owernship.

  4. Hi Everyone,

I am about to order a 1050 setup to reload 9mm. I have 2 Hornady LNL presses that will stay dedicated to loading 223 and 45ACP. I want to be able to use the 1050 to deprime and swage my 223 brass. I don't think I need to buy a full caliber conversion kit, but am not sure. I called Dillon and they wanted me to buy the entire 223 conversion kit.

All I really want to do is run the 223 brass thru the case feeder, use my Lee cap die and the 1050 to swage the crimped primer. Anyone know what extra parts I would need?

    - Shellplate?

    - Swage backup rod?

    - case feeder parts (small rifle plate and ?)

    Thanks...

  5. Going for the 1050 for loading 9mm. I also have 2 Hornady LNL which I will keep for 223 and 45ACP loading.

I do want to use the 1050 to deprime and swage my 223 brass. Does anyone know what extra parts I would need just to run my 223 brass thru the 1050? I dont need a full caliber conversion, but not sure if i need a new shell plate or if I can use the 9mm shellplate?

Figure some one must be running a similar setup.
