200grn BBI , 4.2 WST, 1.185 849-863fps

When i switched to .40 call for single stack i bought 2 of these. I changed the guts and added a flat trigger, personal preference, And had some machine work to get it under 43 oz for USPSA. Have been great guns, Well worth the price and might pick up a third if I can find one for with a rebate.

The ShockerIf we weren't supposed to keep it clean around here, I might be tempted to mention something about the location of Mike's right hand. But I won't [emoji317]

I still have some tinkering to do on mine. Having some hammer follow issues.

How old are your mags? I just bought 2 and their are some differences in the one I bought last year.I have 3 that my Para's will be running with for Limited Nationals this year

After installing new sear, disconnector, hammer, trigger, main spring, tj shim and fitted an extra safety i had laying around and some stoning this is the result. Clean break, no creep, nice reset can't wait to run it through a practice. Waiting on an EGW magwell to show up.

I already have a Para and Remington makes sense due to mags and rig already set up for it. I have less in 2 guns (With the mods I have done) then some people have in their STI's.Considering all the tinkering you have to do to get it "right" wouldn't you be better off with an STI? From what I remember Paras weren't that great to begin with.
Glad to see Remington taking a chance on a gun focused on our market/sport but...
I have bought some parts that will start coming in this week and the replacing and fitting will begin.

The gun has arrived I have disassembled it and started changing it.
It is a renamed Para as I Thought. The rear sight even says Para Ord. The stock trigger brakes at 5lbs. The recoil spring was so tight I could not get it off the guide rod. I destroyed it taking it off since it was going to be changed any way.
Vz grips that it comes with are the same as I have on my para so that is cool. Trigger is a little sloppy but I will be changing that also.
I stoned the sear and hammer hooks and disconnected. But in a 17lb main spring and the trigger went to 4.2 lbs. I will be ordering a TJ shim and trigger, and hammer and mag release tonight.
I checked the .40 ammo I used in my para, 200 gr BBI loaded at 1.185 it dropped right in.
Tomorrow I will put some rounds through it and see how it feels.

Mine gets delivered tomorrow. I won't pic it up till Wednesday though. I am going to try swapping some things on it to see what fits.I’m interested to hear. I haven’t had any trouble with my Para Pro Custom, but I have yet to even see a Remington double stack.

Has any one started using one for uspsa? I have one ordered as a back up to my para since they use the same mags. I am guessing para/rock island magwell should work. Anyone with experience?

Broke my first firing pin this weekend on the second stage of steel challenge.

I am running a 3lb CMC trigger with no issues

I bought my PSA upper around december and had the short chamber issue. I sent mine back and the rebarreled it. I have ran a mixture of loads through it and mo issues now. 115s, 124s, and 147s. I dont remember the lengths I just grabbed a mix and started shooting. even mixed the ammo together to try and make it malfuction. So I am happy with my results.

Published load data for WST doesn't exist, well it's not published any longer but in the past it has been provided by Winchester. To that end, I ran 3.6gr of WST at 1.135 under a Bayou 147 in 9mm, giving me 128PF.
I am running 3.7 under a 124/5 sns coated for 132pf out of a CZ

I recently switched to a LA Police gear basic plus range back. A little smaller then my midway bag, but still holds everything and keeps me from loading more and more extra stuff.
-
I used it for 9, 40 and 45. Tried Titegroup for 9 but prefer wst.
