  1. Like you Joe, I was questioning how long the trimmer would last since it ran soo hot.. I have years of experience with electric motors, and was worried more about burning the commutator then the replaceable brushes. I like your ingenuity, but I have been having very good success by just aiming a fan over the motor while it is running. I bought a $10 Honeywell fan from Wal-Mart, and I just place it on the work bench aiming straight up at the motor. With the fan running over it, I trimmed roughly 500 cases, and I was still able to grip the motor with my hand without having to let go before getting burned. I'm assuming the temperature is running around 110 degrees (slightly warm to the touch). Just an easier alternative for anyone looking to keep their trimmer motor alive..
  2. Thanks for the info guys! I'll probably just stick with the 69'ers for now.. I'm not really going for 1" groups at 300yrds. I'm just hitting steel for three gun. I could understand using them for longer distances and/or in manual rifles, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. Thanks again!!
  3. Hi!! What a great Forum.. Been Lurking for months now. Charles
  4. Hello Everyone, I've been lurking on this forum too long, and have finally come up with a question. Is there any significant reason to try 77 SMK when I am pretty happy using 69's at long distances (300-500yrds)? Are they worth slight difference in cost? Also, is H335 a bad idea to use with 77's in an 18" 1-8 barrel? BTW, I like the fact that I can use H335 on my plinkers (55 grain ball) and long distance 69 grain "match" type ammo. Thank you, Charles
