[Had an interesting time with the kids today]

We had a 9yr old girl shoot with us Saturday at our regular uspsa match. This wasn't her first match, though. Anyway, she gave us all lessons on one shot, one hit on all the steel in the match(even her very proud dad)!!!! I would shoot with her any day over some other shooters. She wasn't fast but she was accurate & had a big old grin after every stage. She handled her glock 34 just fine, I didn't see even one FTF or jam of any kind. The gun is always pointed in the right direction, no slop or wandering close to the 180. By the way, she came in 14th out of 18 beating out 4 adults. Kids can play the game if they are taught right. Wish I could have done this with my Dad.

J-ho I showed my Dad your post and he told me you gave him a tail kicking at his first 2gun match this summer. He said you got first and he came in 3rd.I'm going to start beating him soon also.

HI.I shoot idpa in Amarillo and a couple of times last year indoors in Lubbock.I also make about half of the uspsa matches in Levelland it's a long drive but my Dad let's me steer the van the last 10 miles

That's really cool! Maybe I'll run into you at one of those matches. My little girl is 10 and has been asking to shoot. What kind of pistol are you shooting?

After giving up on my 9mm XD I have a glock 34 working good now.

Now 10 days and my summer vacation will be over. But at least the second week of school will be short because of the area 4 holiday

I am 10 years old been shooting for about a year.I shoot 4/h small bore prone, IDPA and USPSA. shot my second major match today.Ive met a lot of nice and helpful people.I am looking forward to area 4.
