A little more information. The shooter was down 0 for all strings in the stage at the end of the malfunction, and the shooter liked his time. So taping would not have been to bad.

Ok here is the scenario: You are shooting the classifier stage 1 string 6, “Pistol loaded with 3 rounds turn and fire 3 rounds slide lock reload fire 3 more.” So what happens is that you fire the first 2 rounds, the third round in the gun jams you eject that round drop the mag and shoot 4 rounds. What do you do as an SO. Make them reshoot the string, the whole stage, or if the shooter is ok with his time let it go. This really happened recently. I want to know what we “SHOULD” have done!

[FN SLP how to]

This would be for 3 gun.

I defiantly wouldn't want to have to melt the solder off.

I have spent some time looking at other guns. I really like the feel of the M2 tactical and it has ghost sites.

I have looked at others it really seem that where I shoot, just the local club no professionals, you get all kinds. Some with pistol grip some without. Some with ghost sites some without. For me it takes a while with a gun to know if I will like it or not. I looked up here for a while and notices people were trying to find what pistol stocks could be fitted to there SLP.

[FN SLP how to]

I am looking at getting the FN SLP Tactical shotgun. The 18" model with the pistol grip and the ghost rings.

I have never had a shotgun with a pistol grip or ghost rings. So here are the questions:

1) Is it easy to change the pistol grip if I don't decide I like it?

2) Can the front Ghost post (the part of the sight that is on the barrel) be removed?

[IDPA M&P]

We have been talking at our local club, and there is some debate about the class of the M&P. I posted on the IDPA forum and didn't get a good responce. Does anyone know if it is a SSP or and ESP?

[New M&P]

I have 2 M&P pro's a full size, and a compact. I really enjoy them. The only issue thus far with the 40 pro is the barrel. I got about 2500 rounds of cast though the factory barrel before the pattern started to open up alot. I was lucky to shoot a 5" pattern at 50 yards.

After calling S&W they suggested that I send it in, however this is my main comp gun and couldn't so instead I shelled out the 150 for the new barrel and had it over-nighted. Put it in and was back in action shooting good groups.

The new barrel has seen 4000 rounds and has held well.
