Hello, the two match team event was great, Dean & Staff did a fantastic job and Peacemaker is a great range facility and will only get better.
CONGRATS to TEAM STRIKEFORCE/GT TARGETS, Ron, Todd & Doug with a 3rd place finish. Ron is on the podium again.

Hello, the new target stand was tested in match conditions this weekend at the 3 gun team event in WV, it worked great and did not malfunction. It was used on a big stage that lasted approx. 1 minute for many of hte teams and the 'EVIL SPIDER' as most of hte shooter were calling it was slowing down a lot at the end of the stage, it will work much better when the stage design forces the shooters to engage the stand when it is just activated and moving a bit faster.
We have the one working prototype and two more that are 90% finished, we will have pricing and a name this week.

Hey Mark, I hope you make the windmill a little more challenging for the big match. I usually hide it behind a wall and give the shooters a look at 12 o'clock high and maybe one side either 3 o'clock or 9 o'clock. But never the entire view like the stage above. You have to tighten that up a little, hahaha.
It needs to spin a little fast too, I was using between 10 & 15 lbs.

Hey Mark, In post #72 you mentioned the size of the slug target, 16" sq & circles. Is that a typo? You ordered and I sent 6" sq. and 6" circles 1/2" AR500 slug lolli pops, NOT 16". Thats gonna change a few things at 45 yards.

Hello, We were able to get a 3 man team and a alternate signed up this week. The entry form will be in the mail in a couple days. GT will have a target display at both events and I can bring a TEXAS STAR for anyone that wants to save shipping charges.

Hello, I would like to shoot this event but the dates are not in my favor, I will be in Hungary from the end of july to thru the end of August but probably back home by the match date. Budapest is a great place to visit, the mass transit system great and there is no need for a rental car while in the city. The only time we rent a car is to visit Miskolc & Debrecen, the roads have been improved a great deal over the last 10 years and the trip from Budapest to Debrecen is very easy to make now. If something changes I would like to attend this match.

Hey, We hope to keep everything the same including the price. If steel prices shoot up that may cause changes but until we get rolling nothing will change. Terry is sending a bunch of parts & details on the fixtures needed so we can get ready to produce the TEXAS STAR.

Hello, Terry Ashton the designer of the original TEXAS STAR has decided to allow GT TARGETS to continue making the STAR in its original design configuration. GT will keep making the STAR exactly the same way that Terry has been making them, we will not change a single thing on the target. GT is in the process of duplicating Terry's fixtures & patterns so we can make the target an exact copy. We should have the targets ready for sale early next year for the '12 shooting season. GT will have spare targets & hardware kits available asap. GT has the pattern for targets at the laser cutter now and the first targets should be here soon.
The STAR will be added to the GT dealer page on this site and the www.gttargets.com site and I will try to post updates on the STAR to keep everyone up to date.

Hello, Can someone post a video of the side event? I was a bit busy running the shooters and resetting but I did see 6 or 8 different people standing on the berms shooting video.
