Do you not think a non-ramped barrel will prove to be reliable? I don't plan on doing any of the work on my own. I've got a smith to assist.

According to their website, the Spartan does not come in .40

Does anyone have an experience swapping their .45 slide for a .40? I'm thinking of trying this and see if it will work. My guess is that I would only need a new .40 slide, .38 super extractor, ejector, and firing pin and firing pin spring, barrel and bushing, and a different recoil and main spring. Oh yeah, new magazines. Am I missing anything? Also, since I wont be cutting my frame for a ramped barrel, anyone have experiences with a non-ramped .40 barrel while using the same ramp deminsions from the .45 frame? Dont have the money for a Trojan right now.
