  1. Well Phil, it doesn't sound too far off from where we're headed in this country. Except, the Police don't interpret the laws, the President does by unilaterally interpreting the Constitution via executive order, and bypassing the Supreme Court entirely!

  2. Not sure about the primers but I can attest to CZ accuracy. I sold my glocks and am in the process of selling my m&p after putting about 8,000 rounds through my CZ Custom SP-01. Unbelievable accuracy. Reliability, I've only cleaned it once in those 8000 rounds and that was a quick going over at best. Not a single hiccup. In my opinion (which is worth what you paid for it), with CZ, you won't ever blame the gun. I can't say that for some of the others.

  3. Does anyone know which grips CZ Custom ships from the factory on the SP-01, or how to tell whats already on the gun? I think its the thin aluminum but not sure. They are pretty small for my happy grabbers and before I buy thicker grips, I want to make sure what I already have. I figured Stewart could probably help me out here. BTW, incredible blaster. Best buy i could have made. Thanks.

  4. Well, I left the initial contact via the Dillon website "contact us" site. I told them what the problem was and the part number i needed. I received an autoreply from Dillon Help stating they were behind. I replied again with the part number and problem as well as shipping info. The second contact was a couple days ago. Guess I'll just wait and see.

  5. Haven't been as disciplined about this as i thought I would be. Anyway, shot the 3 Gun Nation Pro Qualifier in St. Augustine this last weekend. Poor showing on stages 1 and 5 kept me out of it. Stage 1, mental mistakes biggest problem. Handgun cold start mistake, then had to return to 2 rifle targets i missed, mistake on latter part of handgun array. Stage 2, pretty good, handgun array was quick. no misses on shotty, good 4 round reload, no misses on rest of shotty, blazed rifle, best stage. Stage 3, mental mistake, totally FTE a short handgun target, missed it completely on 7 walkthroughs, other than that not bad, a pickup on shotty but close time with rest of squad. Stage 4, poor choice to reload shotty full cost a lot of time, should have taken 4 steel with handgun rather than shotty, 1 rifle miss left me 10 seconds off the pace. Stage 5, long range rifle 2 pick ups, poor transition to shotty, a pick up on shotty cause run dry and bolt lock reload (dumb), then mental mistake on handgun when shot 2 targets i had already shot with rifle, then disaster, round jams in chamber, can't work slide. Had to put front site on fault line board and drive round out. reload continue without any pickups. 30 seconds off pace. Bad.

Lessons: Need speed work on shotty. Way behind splits of others. Also too many pick up on shotty. More reload work to keep myself under control. Handgun not bad. No mikes. splits ok. Rifle ok. slow splits on stage 1. Mostly mental errors and not keeping under control. Too jerky. No "flow". Need A LOT more work on shooting on the move, all three platforms.

  6. Got Seeklanders book. Started reading it all the way through this weekend. About 15 min of dryfire in garage on Saturday. About 50 reps of weakhand shotgun reloading practice on Saturday. About the same on Sunday.
