My 14 year old daughter shoots the 1301 no reason to cut it's stock. She can bring both of hers to the May 9th Johnson match if you want to shoot it. Their both light rugged and reliable

I've had a couple of real mean dogs until the cat quit running

I have ppu headstamp 9mm brass do that on my 550 . About 2 in every 100 cases so I just thrown them away. Never have had a 40sw case do it
-
If we go to a movie after a pistol match we take our guns into the movie . No one even thinks guns when it's a 11 year old girl carrying the square soft pistol cases
-
I think we are going to come up thurs night March 19th. We have some pretty serious cobwebs to try to dust off.
Be glad to help fri. some if needed.

I think Mark means the shell you borrow my have a crimp your gun does not like

It is confusing

Ok thanks The individual to FFL was what I was interested in. It does seem lame. Been shipping just BOXES not guns lately my official service center is a 200 miles drive Dalhart to Amarillo
-
Very good information I had a question about the overnight shipping I've received more then 500 handguns in the 10 years, some from Bud's and a hundred from individuals and I don't think one of them was shipped over night. I understand that some whole sellers like to ship overnight because it gives commercial carriers less opportunity to [lose] the firearm

Thank you
Also just got a email from Michael

Anyone have some motel suggestions for this match.
Thanks Kelly

Just chrono. some Bayou 180gr with 4.2 titegroup and got a consistent 980 fps with a sti stock barrel. I was expecting less then 890. I guess I will use them for pistol matches instead of 3gun. Anyone else get this kind of fps out of 4.2-4.3 titegroup?
-
I received my first Bayou 180gr bullets two days ago. Loaded 175 tonight 1.140 minor using a lee 3 die set with the sizer die being the EGW U die. My bell was just enough there were no shaving. I didn't pay a lot of attention to seating the bullet perfectly. All 175 pass the Dillon case gauge.
I have seen that bulge before and thought it was a crooked bullet. I wish I could remember if it was before or after a got the U die

was able to get 10 pounds of Varget. 21 dollars a pounds yesterday from Gene Sears

Just when I had decided xtremes were my go to bullet I read this post.
Ordered 500 BBI 180gr to try.

Thanks
I found one 11 coil spring and it did not hold any more then the 13..Seems my mags are only 18 and 19 rounder's. Haven't had a FTF in a couple of years so maybe I should not complain.
Last year when I received my 13 coil gram springs the top coil had the follower sitting up in the front so much that the slide would not close on a empty mag. Do these normally need a little tweaking
-
Kind of confused which springs to put in my 140mm mags bodies with the 2.5 mm grams base pads. I used 13 coil this last year but now Im thinking they might have held more or loads easier with the 11 coil spring. Like to hear what is used with the best success.

Be glad to have you next weekend in Amarillo. if mother nature doesn't act up to much.

Ordered Kevin's rigid short hanger and a WRS from blade tech today. The wait time is about 3-4 weeks on the holster but it's suppose to come with no locktite on the fasteners making the parts easy to change out. Like Blu 46 suggested a little drop will be OK
-
Thanks Blu46
I will check out Kevin's short hanger today. Just ordered Maize a chest rig from him yesterday
-
I called Blade tech to order a Blade Tech WRS without the drop offset and with a reg tech loc. They told me it was difficult to operate the retention lever if the holster is sitting higher and tighter to your body. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with a blade tech non DOH setup. Looking for something that does not flop as much as a DOH for a sti edge
-
I did not fire the rounds but have no doubt of the round count I used them as a paint project . I spread a little epoxy over the cracks and used them up until last week when I replaced them with a nice used stappled plastic grip I got from a BE member. I doubt if I will ever wear one out myself
-
I had a set of grips off a 100,000 round gun that had 3/8 inch cracks at the top of the grip running down toward the mag release right in front of the checkering on both sides.

Just got 8 pounds of TG at my LGS for $176 plus tax. Making sure I have something for 2016
