  1. This all started with finding a picture of a open gun on the net. then i started to watch a bunch of vids of people shooting open. So i sent Brandon a picture of the gun and asked which gun it was. it turns out its the team infinity imm open pistol. so i asked him to build me one. should be here around the end of next summer. its chambered in 38 super comp.

here is a pic of it, only difference will be mine will have a blue c-more on top of it.

  2. this is what i run thru my svi 40

    4.5 clays

    1.23 oal

    180 gr jhp

now with 4.5 of clay i will average only 6fps diffrence over 10 shots. it is VERY consistant. but if its cold you will only make 164,500 power factor. which will drop you to minor. now since i dont want to put anymore clays in my round im am going to be switching to N320 from now on.

  3. I would prefer Irons to either of those choices. I only own my eotec for training purposes as we are issued them at work. I can't stand the lack of field of view with the Aimpoints. Not overly impressed with the prismatic either. Come over to the dark side and get a nice 1-4 variable. Quite a few in the same price range that would be a better choice.

    .

if your shooting limited in 3 gun you cant have a 1x4 on the gun. only a dot.

  4. Mod. note: merged with existing topic.

We had a really good time. i went with 3 of my friends. we had a blast. the stages were great and you got thru them very quickly. it was very organized. being that this was all of our first bigger match we were really focused on just soaking up as much info as we could. like how the RO's handled situations. and just really trying to focus on making sure we were being safe. also while it may be the same in principle, you just feel alittle more stressed at a bigger match. it was nice to get the first one under our belt before the season is over. being at this match did make me realize a few things thou. number one is the shape you need to be in if you really want to compete in this sport. so as of today i am starting a new diet and exercise plan. so that by next spring im in alot better shape. next is working on my speed. the majority of my shots this weekends were alphas.but i also need to work on my trigger control and grip pressure. and making sure its always the same. at the start of the day i was noticing my shots on paper were on the left side of the A zone and slightly into the C zone, still in a great grouping. just off to the left edge. after talking to Bkeeler, he suggested adding more pressure with my weak hand and like clockwork my hits moved right back to center. so im going to start doing alot of dry fire practice over the winter to make sure i have it down.

My break down from shooting this weekend was

    alphas- 188

    bravos- 5

    charlies- 54

    deltas- 5

    mikes- 7

i am going to have my video up soon i have 8 of the 10 stages on tape. the other 2 got missed on video. people loading after shooting and forgeting to tape everyone from the stage.

  5. I was having the same problem. i could log on from my work computer but not from either of my home computers. i ended up hacking my router and changing my mac address to read a diffrent number and was finally able to log back in from my home computer. its a pretty simple process and wont cost your buddy any money.

there is a bunch of youtube videos on how to do it. this is the way that people who get ip banned from a site never really stay banned. they simple change there mac address and the ban controls see it as a new person instead.

  6. its 100% worth the wait. as soon as i shot it i fell in love with the gun. Sold all my guns that i didnt need and ordered a second one in single stack form for idpa esp.

you will drive yourself crazy if you sit on the net all day looking at them. i did the same thing for about the first month or two. but i couldnt handle seeing all the sv's on here. so i actually stopped logging onto gun forums for most of the summer. i just went out and shot my g34 and tried not to think about it. then brandon called me while i was at the mall with the wife and told me he was shipping my gun next day air and that i would have it tomorrow. as soon as i got off the phone i was like "YESSSSS" i got a few weird looks lol...but i didnt care i was stoked.

  7. they are usually about a month faster than what they tell you. ii just got my svi in august, i liked it so much i ordered another one this week. So the wait begins once again...atleast i have one to play with while i wait thou.

  8. man the balls on some people. esp. at a range full of armed people that are generally pretty good shots.

    COF:

you are enjoying a day at the range with your friends and family. all of a sudden you notice that your range bag was just stolen off of the table and is being held hostage by the 3 preps in the parking lot......BEEEEP
