  1. I had a custom racker built a few years ago for my Gold team Eric 2007 .38s The racker snapped in a match over the weekend. Any one know who makes a racker that will FIT other then the stock. I have to be able to bend it to make it work on right side as im left handed and like to keep my thumb in tact! Thanks
  2. I loaded MG 124 CMJ at 1.242 with a new 10lb recoil spring <old one was worn> and she ran like a BEAST!! Fed 28 round big stick, 20 round and 24 round mags all with ZERO issues. USE NEW BRASS!! I couldnt make it malfuntion!
  3. Problem Solved! Thanks Henning! #1 problem was the reloaded TJ brass. I couldnt get it sized perfect. # 2 was the recoil spring. I threw a new Spring in and New Starline brass and It ran flawless tonight. Big Stick, 20 rounders, 24 rounders all mags fed flawless. If you have nose dives Eric G told me this today, <gotta luv facebook lol> Nose dive, several reasons in order Mag spring dead. Recoil spring to light or old then the slide cycles too fast not allowing enough time for the mag to push a new ammo Slide stop Extractor problem could be last
  4. Send him a email he will respond. I had a problem and needed a bunch of stuff ASAP and he made it happen. He had someone overnight the order and I got it today and Im back in Action. Thanks Henning! Even when he's out of the country his service is usually better then the rest of the companys I deal with.
  5. I spoke to Henning he thinks its the brass.I ordered up all new springs for the mags and a couple of his 24 rounders. Im gonna load all new brass and see if runs in Thursdays match. ve been loading the OAL at 1.250 for round nose MG 124s and Zero FMJ 124 RN. I hear more guys loading at 1.245 for the Gold team. 1.245 or 1.250? whats the magic OAL?
  6. Im running Montana Gold 124 CMJ and Zero 124 FMJ both round nose at 1.250 OAL. I never had issues till last week gonna load all new brass and see if that issue is resolved. But im interested to hear the most reliable OAL. Some say 1.245 others say 1.255. I know all RN brands are a little diff but theres gotta be a Proven OAL that runs best for the Gold Team 38. Also crimp data. Mine seemed to run best with a little tighter crimp like .377 Cmon give up some info!
  7. Im gonna work on the mags today. Im going to modify one. Try to squeeze it in a bit to get rounds 1 and 2 stacked and reduce the the lips a few hairs. Stretch the springs back to normal length and do the shake and bake at 550 degrees for an hour and see if I can get one to function correctly. I just looked at my big stick and the one drop on concrete this week cracked the base pad. Its the plastic tanfoglio pad that henning has on his big stick. Does he make a steel or aluminum pad that makes 170mm specs? If cant get it worked out today I will call the King Monday.
  8. no issue with the ramp, edges, and chamber its polished like a mirror.
  9. 147 MG 3.4 grains titegroup 1.20 OAL super accurate 130PF. Shoots flat point of aim point of impact from 5 to 25 yard in my SP01 <my favorite load>
  10. Im certain I have no issues with the brass or ammo, walls are brass is as straight as the day it came off the production line. I can lay 30 of them on a marble slab and stack side by side in a straight line no banana curve what so ever. Extractor is spotless and spring is good. The rounds are just stacking sloppy in the mags. I can load 18 9mm rounds in my CZ mags and the all rounds stack tight. By round 5 and 6 my 38 mags already have a significant gap between rounds 1 and 2. When my 20 round 38 mags are loaded with 19 rounds and I perform a reload as soon as the round in the chamber fires, ejects and goes to feed the first round in the new mag she nose dives due to the gap between rounds 1 and 2. 1/2 capacity mags will feed all day, load past that and nothing but trouble. I measured the lips on my 38 mags. Rear most slot is .350 Middle slot before it tiers down .364 Slot at the front on the tier downed lip .418 What specs you guys have on your mags?
  11. it could be but im resizing with a Lee carbide U die Henning sold me for the TJ brass. Im getting the case all the way down to .379 before it tapers back to the rim. I dont see any bulging. Whats should the case diameter be at the base before it tapers to the rim? If i load the mag and apply pressure to the lips it definitely closes up the gaps between round 1 and 2. I just dont wanna mess up the mags bending the lips the wrong way as I got $500 bucks in 4 of em lol
  12. whats the best way to bend em back to shape? Anyone no the specs they should be bent to?
  13. I have V-12 Built by Henning back in 2008. Its got every option. I also had him build me 3 competition 140mm rimless mags and a rimless big stick. At the time I got the gun I got hooked in IDPA so it never really ran it other then for a few bowling pin shoots. I played with loads back then and at tht time I was running Montana Gold 124 RN, 7.2 IMR 7625, OAL 1.248 to 1.250.Starline TJ brass. Never had ANY issues with the gun and it probably only has 1200 rounds max thru it over the last 3 years. I decided to run it in a USPSA match last night for fun and had nothing but problems with it. Loads are all still the same ran a few hundred fresh rounds through the original dies I set up for it. I had continual nose dives all night. See pic attached. The mags have been stored empty and to be honest when i was shooting pins I never really loaded more then 10 rounds so none of the mags have ever been loaded to capacity. Look how bad the gap is from round 1 to 2 and that mag has only 8 rounds in it. All 3 140mm are stacking the same. The big stick isnt as bad it will run with about 15 in it but then it gets like the rest of the mags. What happened?
