Burris MTAC with your choice of mount will fit that budget and serve you well.

Thanks for replies/links.
But what's the general consensus on the ICE holster tho (well, besides not using it for guns with tall Dawson front sights)?
Compared to many of the race holsters seen on the range, the Bladetech is a very secure holster.
I don't know how dropping a gun on the draw from a Bladetech could be the holsters fault.

Ready Tactical or a Bladetech DOH. Would be hard to go wrong with either.

Holding Their Own

Dawson low pro.

kurtm, do you find the FFP better for 3 Gun matches? What are your thoughts?
Kurt doesn't need no stinking scope.

WTF? Beach volleyball, rhythmic gymnastics and equestrian? Really? Track and field, baby!
Don't forget trampoline and BMX

Can you ship pistols via USPS?
Eta: I see you shipped through a dealer.

I was concerned about ammo selection as well when I first bought my Edge, but it has run 100% with everything I have run through it. I have stuck with stock followers in my mags.

Sounds like a keeper!

Jerry M and Mike Voight were both on the show! So was Julie Golob. They are very classy IMO. It has turned into a top amateurs show not top pros.
They were on as expert consultants, not contestants, right?

Dawson and Arredondo seem to be the most popular for +4/5 in Limited. If you need more for open, then go Taylor Freelance.
-
The main advantage is that they're heavier, so they soak up recoil better.
The main disadvantage is that they're heavier. They may be slower to draw and they are generally harder to stop and start when engaging multiple targets quickly.

It's hard to go wrong with the Shooters Connection bag. Several topics covering this, a quick search will provide you with many discussions regarding bags.

Folks at Glock must also like basketball, because one of mine starts with NBA

The C-17 was a crowd favorite at last years Aviation Nation show.

I think he has the M&P pistol and not the AR version rifle.

I won a stage shooting limited at our last local match! We shot the December drill of the month by Rob Leatham. I wish I was able to shoot it as fast a he does. I also wish I had my run on video, but here is Rob shooting it:

Flex answered this better than I could, but I'll add my simple .02 cents.
You can use the sights to make a shot and not remember the sight picture = good
You can use the sights to call a shot and remember the sight picture = better
For me it has come down to an even harder focus on the front sight, and being in the "zone" for every shot.
It's and old video now, but worth watching:

$1750
Unless I'm missing something, other than the bolt work, I don't see anything the avg. hobby gunsmith couldn't put together for under $800. You could buy 2 of the JM Pro Series guns and have the lifters welded for under that price. Holy stickershock!!
Salient does great work and makes great guns. Mossberg's JM model shows a retail of $715. Can the Salient be that much better?

I run the CMC with the flat trigger and really like it. With that said, it is personal preference.

Jesse has alway's been a inch shorter than most of us...............in guns.
Good stuff!
