Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I've used Berry's since the early 80's when his little shop was run out of his garage in Fontana, Ca. They were only lead then I've always found them to be as accurate as anything else. The plated bullets seem to be fine and I have not experienced any issues with them out of my Sigs. I've heard good things about Montana Gold but have never tried them. I may have to give them a shot...no pun intended!!
  2. I know, I know, California has some goofy firearms rules but one of them has landed me here!! With one of the latest laws banning the mail order ammo into the state, reloading in mass is important for the wife and me. A little about myself....I'm a 32 year veteran of law enforcement and my wife is a 23 year veteran. My youngest sone is currently in the local Sheriff's Academy. We own a local gun business that we run from our home on our time off. We are obviously shooting enthusiasts and reloading has always been a part of my (our) routine but I've never used or owned a progressive loader. My wife just used Brian's site to buy me a very nice dillon set up as my Christmas present for this year. Yes, she loves me but more importantly, she hates the reloading part of shooting so if I get the nice set up for Christmas her part of the reloading is substantially minimized!! I'm looking forward to gleaning as much info as possible from the board. All of the available info is, quite honestly, a bit ovewhelming at first but I'm sure as I surf around read, read and the read some more and ask questions here and there things will nicely fall into place.
