  1. just got in touch with my wife, the sickness was addominal pain, nausea with a few vomiting, and diarrhea. these patient's presented with galbladder symptoms which may be associated with rapaid weight loss.

  2. exoninja, I shoot a colt govt 5" for ipsc, and a colt commander lightweight for idpa, and I have notice going back and forth between the guns makes a little difference. For instants I was having trouble shooting my ipsc gun as fast as normal, and someone wihtout knowing asked if I had been shooting a different gun, yes, they sugested that my idpa gun with no work done to it versus my ipsc gun trigger job was going to make a diffence in my shooting, so I shoot my ipsc gun w/out the tungsten guide rod in it for idpa, just to be more consistant in my shooting.

  3. exoninja, I prctice with pointing my weak hand thumb towards the target, however when I get the chance to be videoed, I notice that my thumb isn't pointed at the target but pressed against my index finger on the same hand. So I'm looking at the tape and thinking I'm doing it wrong but the scores are telling a different story, so it's what works for you and you alone.

  4. Kevin, in the rule book under appendix e us divisions, limited division

    g) EXTERNAL modifcations such as weights, or devieces to control or reduce recoil are specifically not allowed. Unless they want to rewrite the rule book and place internal they can't disallow guide rods.

  5. The do seem to feed OK from my Wilson single-stack magazines, however.

I had a few matches that every stage I had a feeding problem, then I cleaned my mags and problem left, if they're working out of the wilson(which I use) try cleaning the other mags. 90% of feeding problems are from the mags. Hope this helps Jamie

  6. I second Rufus and Glock9 precision bullet, I have been using them for a little over a year and not a problem you cannot beat the price, and reliability. I use 230 rd. by the way I have ran atleast 18k through my colt govt 5" and have never cleaned the barrel. when I first started ipsc I had always cleaned the gun after every time I shoot it, then this guy tells me there is no need to(clean the barrel) for the type of shooting we do in ispc, we are not shooting groups at 50 yrds. he also explained that after every shoot the next bullet stripes out everything and actually fills any microscopic cracks in the barrel, so far so good. by the way he has a Les Bear and about 20+k through his barrel, I have been ordering the precisions for 5 other shooters I shoot with and no one has complained yet. just something to think about for your ipsc gun.

  7. Being consistant is not an easy task, but if you try and shoot at your own level and can be more consistant you will find that will be enough. Its better to be consistant for ex. than burn a few and crash even one stage. I have won more matches where I only won one stage then where I won 4 or 5 stages. Trying to be more consistant is the key, finding your comfort zone, belive in yourself, dont take chances even at a local match, if you attend fun shoots that's where you can try something new and different if it works take it to the match. Just remember that there are mountains and valleys sometimes your up sometimes your down, but for every valley there are two montains. Good luck Jamie

  8. I remeber my first 3-gun, it was a shootgun stage and I had to borrow a friends Benelli, I had a butt stock band on my arm for extra rounds and a few in my single stack mag pouches just in case, buzzer goes off and I'm on my way, first reload I grab my exceutive 2 flashlight that is also on my belt and try to load it in the gun, after a second relizing its not a shell I throw it down(really hard) and get a shell that will actually do me some good. LIfes little lessons I no longer keep my light on my belt.

    Jamie
