  1. thanks kyle, thats what i have been doing but any shots out past 15 to 20 yards especially an accurate shot on a zebra is way off.
  2. hey everyone, im a very novice shooter and having trouble deciding where exactly on my trigger finger im supposed to be making contact with the trigger. ive tried both the tip of my finger where the fingerprint would be found and also on the joint. please any pointers would be great. i dont know if this matters but i shoot production with an xdm 9mm and im right handed.
  3. +1....wolff 16lb 1911 spring (uncut) shooting 147s in a Tac9 +2..... 3.4 gr titegroup..makes about 130pf i run a wolff 14lb spring in my xdm 9mm shooting 147gr . with no problems
  4. thanks joe i appreciate the feed back. i still am no where near %100 like you.. oh i tried polishing the striker like you suggested it looks cleaner if nothing else lol.
  5. well i did my practice last night it was four stages and the gun functioned perfectly. my overall score went up %20. and helped not only get back on the trigger faster but also kept the muzzle flip down i think because i could concentrate more on grip than trigger pull. i plan on getting an xd sub compact for concealed carry and will definitely install another prp trigger kit.
  6. So after weeks and weeks or researching and asking around and comparing I had been looking at several trigger kits to reduce pre travel, over travel, and of-course pull weight. i finally decided on the Powder River Precision ultimate match target trigger kits. i received it in the mail today and installed it today in about two hours in my xdm 4.5" 9mm with some sandpaper a punch set and a couple of files. the kit is nothing short of amazing! i couldnt imagine anything better. i dont have a trigger pull scale but if i had to take a guess id say its at 3.5 pounds and has zero overtravel and super small reset. i have a Uspsa practice tomorrow night ill post my results. but basically if you have 145 bucks lying around and a stock trigger BUY BUY BUY it its amazing.
  7. just got a wolf spring set #18,16, and 14 ive used all three and found that the #14 works great with 147 pf; 135.6 just my .02
