I am getting a Competition Electronics Pro Chrono Digital from shooters connection.

Woo Hoo I have a chronograph coming as a Thanksgiving present to me! Cant wait to get out and do some testing.

I have since put 100 more rounds through without failure but still with the soft eject. I wanted to try both springs just for the sake of testing the difference.It now has the original spring back in it and seems to eject more forcefully.So the original will stay put for a while.

Thanks. That may be a valid point. I have only put 125 rounds through the gun with the 02 spring. Sounds like a good reason to go to the range this weekend. thanks!

I just swapped to the newer 02 spring in my Gen 4 Model 17.The gun ran great stock with a few FTE in the first 100 rounds and then no problems at all.I swapped to the 02 spring to try it and now the cases tend to land close to me or on my head.I dont think I am limp wristing. I have only fired Federal Champion up to this point.Any ideas???

The 45 at 11 yards makes a Very small dimple.The 9 knocks the paint off.

Hey njl Do you reload at home and if so what do you use for a press?

Now I just need to make some target stands.I need to find about 10 or so steel car rims and some cheap steel.

I got mine from Member id arkcusmfg68 . They seem to be holding up pretty well considering I use everything from 22lr to 45acp on them.

Currently unemployed , didn't try the deli yet and I have cheap steel from Ebay also. I just put them on the tables we have.I may have to make new tables soon as these are getting pretty chewed up.

How important is a chrono to a new reloader??? No one tests at the local matches and if the guns work and shoot well is that ok for now??

Well I got enough primers and a few different powders for a couple thousand rounds.As soon as the bullets show up I will load a few hundred and its off to the range!!!!
