Hey guys I know this is an older thread but I just got a call back from ATF on possibly relocating the serial number on my Beretta 1301 to do a loading port mod, well it was a simple sorry NO you cant. I even asked if I re engraved it on the CNC mill and took photos of it with the old number still intact would that work? NO NO NO so there you have it NO you cant and yes a few of the modified ones pictured here are illegal in the USA

Greeting everyone new here looks like a great site!! I just ordered my STI GrandMaster in 9 major! Been doing single stack 1911's for quite awhile at IDPA now wanting to try something different. What would any of you guys recommend for a starting load that will be good to run thru the gun for break in. I wont be actually shooting any competitions right away so any help with load data that will run in the gun will be of great help. Thanks in advance I'm sure I will need to pick your brains alot!!!
