You guys ROCK!!! Thanks for all the suggestions and I will put them all to use. The powder is going all over the place when the machine indexes. I thought at first it was because i was using a cylinder powder but switching to ball powder made no difference. I'm also hoping that this is a "break-in" period and once the machine has cranked out a few thousand rounds it will be smoother. Thanks again

Thanks and I did check there first but cutting the spring under the detent ball did not do the trick for me. Maybe I need to cut more than a half of a coil.

My XL650 throws powder everywhere each time I pull the handle. I've searched for a solution but cannot find. I'm loading 223 and I'm not getting consistent loads because of this. Any suggestions? Thanks oufree@aol.com
