  1. I may run the Saiga at one of our local matches one day. I actually have a threaded barrel and comp for my M&P Pro too. Nobody as a good mount for a dot yet though.

Speed shooter specialties has a mount that fits in the rear sight dovetail. http://www.speedshooterspecialties.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=78_202&products_id=1149

I used one last year and it worked well.

  2. Is there possibly going to be registration online or payment online. Or at least can I call in with a credit card #? We're coming from out of country and Money Orders really suck.

    What's the suck Matt...?

Other than having to actually walk into a bank to get one... I've used 'em often for the US matches... 'Never a problem really...

Me too, just don't like the thought of them getting lost. Besides, its a digital world out there! :D

I assisted with the Pan Am and the credit card online thing can be a disaster....oh yea don't forget the expense imposed on the match for people to use a credit card. Linda goes by post mark and it does not do any good to overnight, that won't help.

Have you seen or considered this. http://www.eventbrite.com/

  3. A saiga is somewhere between having a porn star girlfriend and a dog that does cool tricks but bites sometimes.

I do like mine but it took me a couple of months to figure it out and get it running. The good thing is that most of the problems you can fix yourself and the info is available online.

  4. A local match banned xm193 saying it damages steel. My understanding was 193 is a copper jacketed lead bullet.

I have also been told that xm855 will not hurt steel.

I have always used 193 for steel and avoided using 855. Am I wrong about this?

  5. First of all thanks for taking the time to respond.

I have had some time with a ta 11 and really like it but would like a little more magnification.

As of today I have decided to go with the IOR 1.5-8. I will make a new post and let everyone know how it works out.

  6. I am attempting to set up a rifle for open. I am going to use a offset red dot for short distances and would like input on a primary optic.

The two I have been looking at are a Nightforce NXS 2.5-10x32mm with lv reticle and the IOR spartan with cqc reticle. Both are at the upper end of my budget at this time so I really don't want to spend more but I am open to suggestions.

    Thanks
