  1. when i got the gun the pin block safety was stuck in the depressed possition

i have tried poking back out thru the pin channel with a very small stiff wire but it will only drop down less than a 16th

whne i try to get needle nose on the extruding nub well its just not quite enough material to get a tug

anyone seen this or have an idea that may help me get it fixed?

    thanks

  2. This has nothing to do with being a "pussy." It's about competition, it's about what interests you.

Some are driven to compete. Need competition like they need air. Others are not. It's like Yoda said, "do or do not..." Neither is good nor bad, just different.

Do what you enjoy. Sleep in... get up early... compete... read the paper and have some coffee. Do both, compete sometimes, sleep in sometimes. Not being attached to the results, just enjoying the process provides the freedom to do what you wish. There is no good or bad here, only what you enjoy.

ya that, or your a pussy. one of the two.

  3. Speaking of this.. my CZ 75 Shadow T from the custom shop has rust all over the slide now... I must sweat something corrosive!!!

Hoppes is your friend! Saves them factory mags too. They tend to get the speckles if you dont keep um wiped down.

  4. anyone know if there is a us source for this smaller style 75/sp01 magwell that they sell in europe?

  5. Hey guys, I’m aware that if i try this i will take a hit in round count. but I’m going to do it anyway for continuity. What combination of magazines, extended pads and guts do you recommend for getting capacity and reliability in my SMALL FRAME CZ 75. i will be merging a shadow and 75b sa .40 to get the set up as it will run in Lim.

  6. Can someone who has a good scale and the items please post me the weights they get for the "blue follower" 17 round mecgar mags and also the 10 rd cz factory mags. I have reached a high point of desperation with the 10 rounders for idpa. Watch this Video for some comical stuff. I am well aware that a real "tap rack bang" would have solved the first mess...

  7. I am loading for CZ Shadow:

    147 grain Montana Gold CMJ

    3.2 grains Titegroup

Any primer that I have on hand usually Winchester.

    1.120" OAL

Assorted Range Pickup Brass since at our club it is just about impossible to get your own brass back.

Gives me 129 Power Factor but last chrono day was cold.

Runs great in both Shadow and Glock 17.

When the sun is right we can see the Montana Gold in flight easier than any other bullet.

147 grain MG CMJ is slower than any other 147 bullet I have tried. Had to up the powder from the last 147 grain Precision Deltas I tried.

I like the MG's in 147 grain and they produced a good group on paper.

I hate seeing my bullets when i shoot, very destracting.

  8. I never would have thought it possible but i witnessed it myself, we used a double chrono set up in tandem. I shoot 3.0g N320 under Bayou 160g and it gets 132 pf pretty consistently in my CZ. Buddy had complained about them being flippy and stout in his G34, so we set up for the testing at a local range. The loads chronoed a tad higher than usual from my CZ, maybe due to the 20f temp, but nothing worth noting. Sure enough, they pushed 137-138 from his glock. I had asked him to bring his old factory load for comparison testing. Its a Fiocci 158 fmj that chronoed like 130 pf at NE regionals and A8 champs. His Fioccis chronoed hotter than my loads, he was like WTF. Well he was running a 20# spring that he thought would reduce his recoil. It replaced the stock spring a few weeks ago and was the only nonfactory spring he had used in the gun. We tried another guys 14# assembly just to test the feel with a spring closer to the weight he should be using (has 15# on order now after talking to some of us). The load felt completely different, much softer. OK, no biggie, proper springing is important for the pulse and cycle of the gun, but rechrono for kicks...70 fps less on average over 10 shot strings. Same result for the fioccis. My only thought is that the 20# was just way to heavy, to the point of giving the gun a full blown bolt action effect. Someone else must have seen something like this in a glock...or maybe not many people have ever fitted up a 9mm glock shooting minor loads with a 20# spring.

  9. pistol fired 150 rounds flawlessly, no lite strikes on a mix of Federal and Winchester primers. was testing my bounds. Guess i could go lighter if i wanted to lol. No way, love the trigger as is and looks like the reliability will hold up.
