Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. No, other way around. When removing, you tap the sights from the left, driving them out to the right. Opposite for installation.
  2. I recently replaced both the original front and rear sights with Dawson FO front and adjustable rear. As others have reported, the rear came out without too much difficulty, but I ended up taking a hack saw to the front! I sawed about half way through the base of the front sight, and then gently hammered it out. Both front rear sights from Dawson needed quite a bit of filing before they would fit into the dovetails. The front was glued with Loctite, but I decided not to glue the rear, except the threads of the pointed screw.
  3. I decided to try out Dawsons adjustable rear and FO front on my M&P9L. Does anyone have any tips or pointers for the installation, except of course following the instructions from Dawson?
  4. Got the DOH attachtment today, installation was easy peasy! No need to shorten screws, the attachment came with two different lengths.
  5. Talked to BT today, they confirmed and are sending the DOH attachment, will report back when I get to try it. Thanks for all the answers.
  6. OK thanks. As far as I can see in the downloadable manual for the Tek-Lok system, it is supposed to be easy to take on and off. I guess I was more wondering if the DOH Tek-Lok in my link is the same as the one that is factory installed on a regular DOH holster.
  7. Does anyone know if you can buy this guy and attach it to your regular Bladetech holster with existing Tek-Lok attachment, but not DOH, and thereby get the same results as the DOH holster Bladetech assembles from factory?
  8. This was my first 3-Gun match, but hopefully not my last. The stages were nicely balanced, challenging and fun! Great work by the organizers!
  9. Right. Did she mention anything about canting the Black Ice?
  10. I'm looking to buy a Bladetech DOH holster for IPSC use. Does anyone know the difference between their new Black Ice DOH holster and the regular DOH holster in the two links below? http://www.blade-tech.com/Black-Ice-DOH-pr-1211.html http://www.blade-tech.com/DOH-Dropped-Offset-Holster-w-Tek-Lok-pr-1032.html#product_images From the pictures they look pretty similar and the prices are identical, however I'm not sure if you can cant the Black Ice holster from the description.
  11. I know Ghost makes a holster that fits the M&P9L (and should then also fit the rest of the model line up I guess).
  12. Thanks for all the tips and links! Tripwire, I might just take you up on that offer, I'll get back to you.
  13. Hi all. I'm from Denmark and am being stationed near Chicago from October-December. I would very much like to find a IPSC/USPSA pistol or rifle (perhaps even a multigun) match, preferably at a range where it might be possible to rent or borrow firearms, as I can't bring my own stuff to the US. Recommandations?
