My JM has run everything I put I it for 4 years. This year it started to fire one round then a light hit on the 2nd shot. I finally figured it out. The bolt wasn't closing all the way. Do to my lack of cleaning. You must take off the rings on the piston. If the piston does not slide easily your have problems. I love when 1500.00 shot guns jamb and my 500.00 dollar gun runs great.

Even though I wasn't shooting for the prize table I would like to know where I finished . Thanks
Fun match

looks like fun.

Is there any scenario when you don't count the best two hits?
-
The light strikes was caused by the bolt not fully locking up due to the gas rings being dirty

After 3 years I started having problems. first shot or 2 would fire then hammer would fall but have light or even no strikes. Bolt was not closing all the way. turned out to be the gas rings. you must separate them. Just like rings on a piston. full of build up. Just putting it out there.

The Ro should have moved you down the order. I never make a new shooter go first , not till
he has a few stages under his belt.

Operating rod on a new 550 case feeder hits the lower feeder assembly. Its a older press Don't know if new ones are different. Seems to be no way to make it stay in contact with the white roller that's on the new feeder part. I did bend the rod and its better but not right. What am I missing ?

I don't see the point of all that work. I just get most of the black off and that's good enough.

Post there names. There's no excuse for grown men to act like babies.

If they work in your gun and make power factor that's all that's needed. Even though a local match wont have a chronograph you really should shoot major. I use 230 gr. lead or coated bullets at 170 power factor.

take it to the Handgunner.

Yea Traffic sucked 2 years ago.

I never could make major with Clays in my Spartan, Even at a little over max

In my area we tend to wait till shooting is over and the stage is broken down. then you can pick all you want. This weekend 2 guys on the same squad picked brass after every shooter. The thing that pisses me off is If I am RO's or keeping score at the end of the day I get nothing because its all picked. They claimed there brass was marked which is ok but it still holds up everthing. they should put that effort into taping

This was with factory ammo . The company that made the gun is replacing the barrel for me. They had a few with this problem but they are taking care of it.

What better way to spend fathers day than shooting.

I have a new AR with a Krieger barrel, chambered in 223 Wylde. The chamber seems so tight that I can barely eject a round and it does not chamber a round sometimes. Is this normal for match barrels? Today at my first match one shot then it didnt chamber completely . I had to bang the stock on the ground pulling on the charging handle and it pulled the brass off of the bullet , leaving it stuck in the chamber . Any Ideas ?

I use the light kit also. I get much better results with it.

Graham, You guys put on the most fun matches. Those close cluster targets are burning up some ammo but I would not change a thing. The ammo thing will pass. I just wont waste any on practice and will come to your match . THE MORE THE BETTER.

Just got my third. 1 for single stack 1 for limited and now 3 gun . I mounted a safariland ELS kit to TEK LOKs so i can use a CR Speed belt and be able to remove the shotgun shell holders easily.
