  1. If Krieghoff installed the releases they probably installed the release sears as well which should have been returned to you. If that's the case you will need to remove the release hooks and sears and put the original pull sears back in along with the shorter pins. Not a real complicated job but best left to a gunsmith if you're not familiar with the procedure.

  2. If you get a Browning with an adjustable comb and it's the type of comb hardware that has the rod sticking out the back to raise and lower the comb you will not be able to change the lop without a whole lot of trouble. Stock Positioning Systems sell comb hardware to fix this but unless you know how to install it I'd pass. I'd definitely have Tron put an adjustable comb on it.

  3. Was thinking about having my non choke tube o/u barrels tuned by Kerry Allor or Jim Eyster. The chokes are IM & F. I'm thinking I'd like to have them opened up to LM & M, having the barrels polished out and the forcing cone lengthened. Was curious if anyone has had this done and did you like the results?

  4. #9 shot for skeet. 7 1/2  or 8 for Trap, and when others say magnum they are referring to the type of shot used in the competition shell (Remington STS or Winchester AA) which is harder then the regular field shotshells, not the powder load.

  5. To me the A400 would be the way to go if wanting a semi auto. Fairly low recoil and dependable as well. You would have to put a shell catcher on it though to keep it from kicking shells out in the direction of the shooter next to you. Personally I'd check out Browning's BT99 or 100.

  6. Had a Ljutic Mono I shot trap with. Had a stock made to fit me so I could get the correct sight picture. Struggled with it for 6 months. For me it swung and balanced terrible. Felt like swinging a 2x4. Lost an average of 4 to 5 birds. Finally traded it off for a Perazzi. Scores went back up. Sometimes even if a gun fits you, it might feel better then what it was, but still not great.

  7. Briley chokes are as good as any. Choke depends on the relationship of the bore diameter versus the choke constriction. If the bore measures .729 and choke measures .719 that would be IC, same .010 constriction as a .740 bore with a .730 choke. .021 difference in choke sizes, both improved cylinder choke, but different internal diameter. So the choke tube constriction has to be matched to the bore diameter to get the choke you want. .000-cylinder, ..005-skeet 1, .010- IC, ect, ect.
