I too am new to Tanfoglio. My TA-90 needed work when I bought it, but works like a champ now. I have no idea how old it is, or know anyone who even has one. I do know it works well, is accuurate, and I found parts that I could make work. I bought two magazines for it (16 round), and found out it is a small frame. Thyat is about it.----Metalguy

Hmm...seems nobody replied to this. I picked up a TA-90 at the local gun show for cheap, and found it had a broken firing pin. I picked up one fron hennings, and after modding it to work, the gun is great. Mine is in an odd colored blued finish. (brown) Mine is 9mm, and I shoot it every week! I dunno much about this gun, that is why I joined this forum, trying to find info. I changed the extractor spring while I was inside tthe slide swapping out the firing pin.-----Metalguy
