Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Any chance they will ever offer a CTS LS upper? I've already had my 75 SA worked over the way I want it, that long slide would make it perfect.
  2. Yep, installed lighter hammer spring. Crud. That makes shooting the .22 kit a lot less convenient.
  3. I recently had an action job done on my 75B SA and had the FB removed and the gun is super sweet to shoot now. Went to the range over the weekend and after burning up all my 9mm ammo I pulled out the Kadet kit. Before the action job the Kadet was probably the most reliable 22 pistol I've ever owned. Now I load a round, fire with no problem, ejects and feeds the next round with no problem, but when I pull the trigger it won't go bang. I later found I could just thumb the hammer back, pull the trigger and it would fire. Even though I can see the rim has been hit it won't fire unless it's either the first round racked by hand or if I thumb the hammer back. One other problem I'm having with only one of the four magazines. It jams frequently, and by jam I mean the spent case gets jammed up above the round that is being fed into the chamber. Any help would be appreciated. I should also add this is with Blazer .22 lr ammo.
  4. Wow, for 25 bucks you can hardly go wrong. I think I'll get one for a back up if nothing else.
  5. Thanks for the input guys, I appreciate it. As soon as I get my pistol back from the custom shop I think I'm going to support a local guy and try out triple crown.
  6. Thanks K9, I'll give him a call. I hope I get to meet you at the next 3-gun at okc. I'm still thinking about a 2011, but I may be just as happy tricking out my old 75B SA. My pocketbook will be.
  7. I'm looking for a good holster to use in 3 gun competition. Saturday was my first match and on the second stage we shot one of the guys pistols fell out of his holster while moving from prone to sitting position while shooting his rifle! My first lesson is get a good, secure holster for your sidearm! I didn't even use my CZ during the competition because I don't have a good holster for it. Anyone have any experience/advice on a 3 gun holster for the CZ 75B?
  8. The ballistic program will help with your slug loads too, or whatever your shooting. Get a good chronograph so you can find your muzzle velocity, input the height from your bore to the center of your scope, the ballistic program will probably have the ballistic coefficient of your projectile and then you calculate rise or drop at whatever distance... It's just a place to start. You still have to shoot to figure it all out, but that's why it's so much fun.
  9. Well, now I see I have joined the "made my first post in the wrong forum club"!
  10. I have been shooting a CZ 75B for about 5 years, which brought me around to picking up a used EAA Elite Match, which brought me to here! Looking forward to learning alot here and hope I can contribute some myself.
