Haha, whats up man?

I know several ner-do-wells that use the "BLAMO" tag - so which one are you?
If you look at the most recent IDPA(4th sunday) match scores, I came in second. Prefer not to broadcast my whole name on the inet, if you know what I mean.

Just to chime in a bit late:
I have used the Apex sear and it significantly reduced my stock .40 trigger to around 3.3 lbs. The only issue is: It still needs some tuning as it does not seem to break at the same spot every time. Reset however is fantastic.

Practice your draws and reloads. Shooting faster takes time spent shooting. Your draw and load can be huge timesavers at SS level. Movement from position to position even moreso. Learn to *run* when you're not shooting.
The difference between SS and EX isn't so much in the shooting, though an EX will drop fewer points and tag fewer noshoots in general. The EX just does all the non-trigger-pulling stuff (draw, load, and move) a good bit faster.
Thanks for the insight Memphis, much appreciated. I watched a few of your videos, you're a heck of a shooter. Thanks again!

Hello all,
Last night I shot my first classifier in IDPA. I ended up coming in with a Sharpshooter (152.28). This being approximately my 4th month of shooting IDPA, IPSC or any sort of competition, I feel pretty good about it (sans some misgivings about misses). Hopefully next time will be better.
My question to you all is:
Being such a new shooter with no formal training and limited time to practice, what sort of drills and training regimen do you suggest. I know there is a wealth of information here and this subject has probably been beat to death. But I find it somewhat overwhelming and would appreciate a bit of guidance. It has been hard to discern where to start, how advanced to go etc.. Also, how should I start benchmarking my progress?
Thank you all in advance!

Aglifter,
I live in Socastee. I believe you showed me your SVI a few weekends ago?
PBr, Yes that's correct.

Repairing M&P pro front fiber optic
in General Gunsmithing
Posted
Last night I was cleaning my M&P pro and discovered that the fiber optic had been damaged and was about to fall out. So my question is: Does anyone know what diameter F/O I need to replace it. And also, what is the best method for securing the rod within the housing?
