  1. I found an assembled Glock 22 slide for cheap and I'm going to try it on my G35 w/ Sight block and see how it is. Definitely noticed some serious snap before I put a weighted magwell, SJC frame weight, and weighted base pads on it. Did some slide lightening cuts on the 35 and will likely do it on the 22 slide.

Regarding Glocks holding you back, it wouldn't be a terrible suprise to see Robert Vogel win Limited Nationals shooting a Glock.

  2. I'm currently using the brass weighted magwell and think it is quite nice. However, when doing dry fire and dropping it, it can cause the magazine body to separate from the base pad. Haven't had it happen in competition where it explodes like that, but I suspect it will happen Don't have that problem with the Arredondo ones I used to use. Every one I got allowed the standard G22 mag to hold 20+1.

  3. I stuck my DAA Race Master in the mill and cut off about 1/3 of an inch. Holster did have two hardened pins which needed a carbide end mill to sort out easily. Took about an hour and a half, I'm not very good with a mill and took my time.

  4. Just called Trijicon today and spoke with one of their Law Enforcement guys and they said that their TA11H-308 was calibrated to 175gr Bullet @ 2810fps from a 22" barrel. That is smoking out of 308. I can't find any load data that approaches that within 100fps even with 26" barrel. Does any of this seem odd?
