  1. I have not settled on a powder for 77s. But, I have found, in general that I tend to use faster powders than a lot of others. I have been playing with TAC and a few others now that I have the 55s and 69s dialed in. Varget is just too slow for me.

Where are you finding Tac? I haven't found it in stock for over a year
  2. I'm in the process of rebuilding a couple rifles and I'm thinking about going with adjustable gas and a liteweight BCG in at least one of them, budget permitting. I know adjustable gas blocks have been the standard for many years, but does anyone have any experience with the adjustable gas keys? I like the idea of being able to swap in a standard BCG if I run into any reliability problems, but I'd love to hear any opinions or experience with them.

I googled the subject and most of the threads I found seem to have been trashed

  3. I've never been impressed with the reliability of the FN and I find it to be a pain to reload compared to the Benellis I've played with. The lack of a vent rib also bothers me. I do however like how soft it shoots and it's dead on at 50yards with cheap winchester bulk pack slugs. If I could keep the recoil impulse or lighten it while gaining some ease of loading and reliability I will be happy.

  4. It's time for me to replace my FN SLP MkII.

Can anyone offer some opinions on the M2 vs The Vinci and Versamax?

I know the M2 is obviously a proven platform and I've found the AR15.com edition set up and ready to run for $1600. I've shot the M2 and while I like the way it weak hand reloads I did find the recoil impulse to be obnoxiously "slappy" for lack of a better term.

I know very little about the VersaMax in comparison and less about the Vinci. Considering reviews I've seen of Mr. Kelly's, the Vinci seem favorable, but I know he's a load-2 kinda guy so I'm worried about the how it will respond with a weak hand reload.

Anyone have any input to make this decision easier?

  5. I'm looking for training tips and techniques for airsoft now that I have a reasonable gun. Would anyone be willing ot share what their training regime looks like. I'm having ot take this season off for the most part due to time and money constraints, but I would like to do SOMETHING to feel like I'm not completely out of the game.

    Thanks
