i shot a match with my g34 last month when the gun was all factory, today i shot a uspsa match with my warren/sevigny competition sights, grip tape and vanek trigger job and man there was a huge difference! i did so much better with the new parts on it. i feel comfortable with the gun now, the grip tape was the best add on yet. when my hands gets sweaty the gun doesnt move at all now, the sights are great and the trigger kit was so smooth. not to pat myself on the back but even the open shooters where telling me nice shooting. this is just my experience and iam very happy that a few parts on my g34 made me love my glock even more. just wanted to tell you all my range report.

i sure will let you guys know. i wont get the spring till the monday after the match but i will go to the range when i get it and let you know how it all works out. when i tried the 14lb wolff spring it seemed more snappy and my stock setup seemed more of a push but i didnt keep the wolff setup in there very long because it was so hard to put in after cleaning i put it aside.

i shoot the g34 in production class and love it. i like the longer sight radius. i rented a few glocks at my range and ended up liking the 34 over the rest.

i just ordered a ismi 13lb recoil spring with the ismi captured guide rod, i have tried the wolff 14lb spring with there guide rod but did not like that is was so hard to put in ( uncaptured ). i have a vanek trigger kit with his light weight extended tip striker and reduced power striker spring. my question is how many of you have tried this setup and do you like it? iam shooting my g34 in uspsa production and everyone is telling me to try a 13lb recoil spring, they tell me it helps with recoil and to get on target faster. i think i get back on target good with the stock recoil setup, will this ismi setup help any? iam shooting around a 130pf. thanks for your advice

i forgot to add that when he puts a mag in the gun with the slide locked back the slide slams forward when he puts the mag in what can cause that?

next time i will have him check the extractor and ammo.

yeah every five mags it did the same thing. it wasnt every round but it happened almost every mag. sometimes it would go through a whole mag sometimes it would not. so if its the extractor how can he fix it

the rounds were ejecting but when the slide would come forward it would stop before it went into battery

they were wwb 115 grain ammo. i was using the same ammo in my g34 with no problems. how do you check extractor tension

me and my buddy went to the range to try out his new phantom while i shot my glock 34, but he was having problems with his phantom that we could not figure out. when he tried to chamber a round the gun would not go into full battery all the time, and every so often when he would shoot it the gun would not go into battery? is this a problem with the mags? he tried 5 new cz mags.

yeah i spent 21 years of my life there, love the area and miss it. i use to live close to main strasse

i ordered the LW 3.5 so i will let you guys know how the 34 takes to it

i looked at my connector and it dont have any markings so i guess its a 5.5. thanks guys for the pics and info. what does a 3.5 connector feel like and should i do a 25cent trigger job?

yeah there is but i dont see anything about connector or trigger weight

yeah i got mine through LEO sales also. i will check my connector to see if it has any markings.

i want to order and install a 3.5 connector but i was just curious if my 34 had one from the factory

i have the extended tip striker and it hits the primer hard. i picked up my brass and compaired it to my buddys cz primer strikes and mine was deeper. its a good thing because i have a reduced power striker spring.
