  1. I have the 625 JM. I bought the JM competition spring set. It comes with a trigger bouncer spring, main spring and a striker spring. I also got the extended firing pin. I dialed the hammer tension so that I could get a 7 to 7.5 average trigger DA pull. I use federal primers only and I hand seat every primer to ensure it is set in all the way; I crushed them a bit :surprise: . I have the smoothest action in any revolver I have ever shot. I filed nothing and polish nothing.

  2. How is that even possible? The hammer holds the bottom rim of the case. There s nothing that could possibly hit the primer. Maybe you were holding the hammer the wrong way... You need to hit the plastic closed end of it against the hard surface. The only issue with a concrete floor is that the hammer will get damaged, so a hard wood surface maybe a better option... I am scratching my sombrero on this one.... Anyways glad you are ok.

  3. Also if you think you need a lighter trigger to shoot better you better get your ass to the range and get more trigger time.

Sorry, I call BS on this. I said it before, I'll say it again. A lighter, smoother trigger will help all competitors. How much it helps depends on how good the shooter is in the first place. At the top tier maybe it's not so much. But all I can say is the best shooters in this area have damn light triggers.... and I've yet to try a Limited or Open gun with anything less that 2.5 lbs!

We have some great shooters on this thread alone and I don't think the ONLY reason they are squawking is because of the money they spent on their triggers and the way the decision went down!

    Truer words were never spoken.

  4. Hmmmmm. More than 200 posts to this thread and not one comment about magnetic mag pouches being disallowed in Production and Single Stack divisions.

I guess unloaded table starts with all ammo on the table aren't as popular in USPSA as they are in IPSC matches. (that has been my experience, at least)

It is much simpler to switch mag pouches ... I would have to guess...

    Still opprobrious IMO
