Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I'm no shooting stud, however my best is 5.4 seconds. Mind you, that is a with a bone stock Sig P226 in 9mm, a Threat Level III holster, and regular duty (police) gunbelt. No misses.
  2. http://www.reflexgame.com I'm not sure if this was ever posted before, however it does have some value to firearms training. Its actually addicting, trying to get your times quicker and quicker.
  3. The technique I use came from Ron Avery. Ron would say, "Pop the gun out of the holster and jam it up to the natural handclap position. From there, push the gun out, just like you were going to push a doorbell. No faster, no slower." Of course, Ron was the first person I took a real firearms training class from. This has worked for me over the years. My two cents.
  4. Shoot, are you kidding??? My year long goal is to make C Class. Good Job.
  5. "Of every one hundred men, Ten shouldn't even be there, Eighty are nothing but targets, Nine are real fighters...We are lucky to have them...They make the battle. Ah, but the ONE, ONE of them is a WARRIOR...and HE will bring the others back." Hericletus (circa 500 BC)
  6. Thank you for the reply's. I am just now getting into competition shooting. As a police officer, I also have an 870 w/a Vang Comp System. The shotgun works wonderfully, however I was unsure as to its suitability in a competition arena. I have now found out. Thank you all.
  7. Has anyone used VangComp Shotguns/Barrels for competition uses? Good, bad, indifferent??? Any links, etc would be appreciated.
