  1. I have a few revolvers that I enjoy shooting in local USPSA matches. Since I'm frequently the only revolver shooter, I don't get many opportunities to see other people's gear, so here I am looking for advice. What are your impressions about the CR and Ghost holsters? They all look dicey to me. How often do guns just fall out? Can you use the same holster for K,L, and N frames? Are there any other makers I should be considering? Thanks, PumpGunGuy
  2. That's interesting. Does the undersize die reduce the head of the case enough to chamber in the .357 cylinder? What size bullets do you use (.356 or .357)? Is anybody else doing this? Thanks
  3. I thought it would be interesting to play in USPSA open with an 8 shot revolver with a dot. I won't win no matter what I shoot (personal knowledge of my ability), but at least it will be easy to pick up the empties.
  4. Can anyone offer a comparison of the two in terms of accuracy, and potential for achieving major power factor? Does the .38 super reload that much more easily than .357 when using the full moon clips? Thanks for the info.. Rick
  5. To my great delight, my teenage daughter wants to shoot USPSA with me. I have a lot of competitive experience with shotguns (skeet and sporting clays), but am a relative newcomer to this game. I would like to get some quality instruction for us. I live in Maine, so I understand I will have to travel. I would appreciate feedback about instructors who may work for both of us. By the way, she is testing for her 3rd degree black belt, so she is familiar with taking and applying instruction. Thanks for your feedback. Rick
  6. Thanks for the input. I have an M&P Pro that she is not fond of, but that may change. The short trigger is a good idea. I'm trying to make it easy for her to like. The rental idea is appealing, but the nearest such range is probably 5-700 miles away. Rick
  7. My full grown daughter (all 5 feet of her) is interested in shooting USPSA with me. I'm thrilled, and looking for a good gun for her. She has tiny hands. Currently she is using a Kimber 1911 9mm that has thin grips. It's OK, but I wonder if there is a better choice. I know you can have Glocks reshaped. Does anyone have experience with a similar problem? What has and hasn't worked? Thanks, Rick
