No. The factory gr is larger than .270.

I was playing around with a 1911 guide rod and rounded the head and drilled a 1/8"  hole in the end. Used a 1911 recoil spring for testing. Did not fire it, but just on the bench and seemed to work fine. Ordered a glock guide rod and ismi flat wire spring. All you need to do is drill the 1/8" hole at end.

Can you post a link to which guide rod and spring you ordered? I'm not familiar with glock parts.

The non functioning trigger is a concern.  Not sure that it is worth cutting a couple of pounds on the trigger pull and risking a dead trigger on a poor grip.

Just curious if you are only running the stock trigger.

Assuming you have done some polishing as well.

I had the issue with the spring kit and not being able to fully depress the trigger safety, decided to stay with the stock springs and have never had an issue. It does reduce the poundage of the trigger but at the fast pace that you will run the gun you are never going to notice the 1-2# difference.

  7. Sides sanded down flat, then sanded and removed a little of the hump on the back and stippled the whole grip. Makes the grip feel similar to the small panel of the poly q5.

I probably could have went further on the sanding part to get them a little thinner but I didn't want to go too far as replacement grips aren't available yet. Next step I may take is to sand down a thumb groove to the mag release.
