thanks guys for your reply, Ive seen people using that frame few times shooting Open, but that was mostly 9mm set up, but most of the failures I notice are spring related, open gun ussually failed well most I have seen, anyway I had played long enough with my glock 34, it is starting to loose its black color - so Im really having the itch to go for these set up,
So as far as you guys know that fake glock 35 should be allowed in ESP as long as I make the weight limit/ Im going to use the same gun for limitted since I dont have limitted gun yet.
My set up will be : Caspian 35, barsto, fulcrum because it looks better than vanek (colorwise) havent tried both yet, sevigny sight, ccf frame maybe-stainless or alluminum depends on weight.
anyone who had bad or good experience who actually own a ccf and caspian slide setup, Pls slap me in the face if Im about to spend my hard earned money for no good reason.

what do you guys think about building glock 35 caspian slide / ccf frame ( stainless steel or alluminum) if I can make it to weight limit will that be allowed to ESP?

Sorry guys, the load was 3.6 grains of titegroup. Here is what I wrote down in December when I chronographed it. I made several thousand rounds of this and what I was shooting Saturday was still part of this lot.
The good news is I only have about 100rds of the stuff left and I can bump it up a bit now.

I had that similar issue with my reloaded ammo from last year although not the same powder , but I have that same borderline power factor, I notice that during the match and its early morning and still cold I experience jam, I chrono it on cold temp last december and found it to be at least 50 fps slower, I bump my load to 135 power factor since then, and also doing test fit each of my competition ammo to my barrel and also clean them with rag and tiny amount of oil just to lube them ( I learned it from this forum - some guys prefer F1 racing car oil). it doesnt take too long to do but it give me more confidence on my ammo, I would have it bless with holy water too if needed and put cross in the bullet tip to take care of vampire...

Just curious as to what you competitive shooters think.
Which of the two is more powerful and stays with you longer a win or a loss? which one of the two stays in your memory and is more vivid than the other.
Do you love winning more, or do you just hate to lose more. I guess what I am trying to say is which of the two drives you. The thrill of the win or that you would rather die than to lose. be honest
Im a newbie, maybe not a very competitive in nature , but from my recent experience on loosing in IDPA nationals placing 7th out of 18 shooter in my class that means no plaque because only 6th gets it I guess you can figure out how I felt... but because I knew I trained hard from being a newbie to earning an SS class just before the nationals i actually felt satisfied and I think I knew next time I can do better. all I need to do is work harder and work on my mental presence in the game. but that is a good start for me I have to learn from all that mistake

thanks guys for your reply, Im practicing the cigar type hold on flashlight for now just to be on safe side of IDPA rules. I find it tricky to perform mag change while holding a flashlight but with right size of equipment I think it makes the difference.

Im new to USPSA and IDPA, Im wondering if there is set rules on what kind of flashlight you can use on IDPA match? I saw a video on 2008 IDPA national in S&W one of the top competitior had a flashlight that is designed to comfortably hold it without compromising your pistol grip. do IDPA allows non typical flashlight / like those wire type that bends etc.. is there anyone here who might know?

I appreciate the replies, I guess the frame is no go, but I already got the caspian slide and the cool colored fulcrum is on its way, the barrel needs to be ordered too. ,I don't see the point of getting a frame that can't run a custom part, I Have stock 17 and 34 I will just use one of them to be my 35 convert I will set it for descent esp and limitted.
