Springfield Armory guns are crap. Do not buy unless you want to spend a lot on fixing the problems you will have with it. Stay with a Kimber, best gun for the money. Y

I think my STI Edge .40 came with a 14 lb. recoil spring, some friend say I need a heavier spring so I don't beat up the gun, but it seems like a lot of people use a lighter spring. It's time to replace the spring....any ideas? All answers appreciated
