  1. I've been using these in a CZ SP-01.

    Bayou 147gr 3.3gr N320 at 1.14

    Bayou 160gr 3.0gr N320 at 1.16

I used a sharpie on the bullets, and turned them in the chamber to

see where they rubbed the lands, then backed off a little.

  2. I'm looking to put a C-More Slide Ride and a mount on my H/C edge .40. I kind of decided on a 90 degree mount.

Maybe a Quinn III or Cheely. Should I but the parts first, then send it off to get my frame drilled and tapped,

or buy everything where I would have the machine work done?

Wouldn't the gunsmith want to have the parts on hand to see if the mounted C-More didn't rub on the slide?

How would I go about doing this?

After I had my frame D/T, would other mounts fit? Are the spacing of the holes the same? I guess that the thickness of

    the mounts vary though.

Who would YOU have your frame worked on?

Would there be a problem with the hard chrome where the holes were drilled? (I know it would be under the mount.)

Point me in the right direction-

    Thanks!

  3. Is that not something you would be comfortable doing yourself?

I changed mine out on a SP-01, and it was very easy.

Just need a punch, and some fine grit sandpaper.

Walmart has 1000 and 2000 grit in their automotive section.

    Just sayin-

  4. Nimitz-

I'm having the same problem with the same set up.

I was thinking about roughing up the inside of the pouch somehow.

Only one has the most "looseness"- all are cranked down all the way, with no more adjustment left.

I tried a spacer behind the insert, and it didn't seem to help at all.

  5. Glad it works out for you. Didn't realize they had pink holsters.

I think it's great that you introduced your daughter to the sport.

I wish her alot of luck, and I know that with you for support, she'll do fine!

  6. Has anyone purchased this style holster and is happpy with it?

I bought one, and I felt the gun was just too "loose" in it.

I returned it, and bought the regular OWB holster for a SP-01.

I hated to return it, thinking how much labor was used to make it, but it just didn't work.

They sent me a new hoster and it fit's like a glove!

I bought the thumb screws for it from a different company, like I have for my STI edge holster.

Nothing to say about Blade Tech, but I wish they would list the origional DOH holster on their

    website to make things clearer.

Maybe if they would make that holster in a thicker material, it wouldn't be so flimsly.

    Just a thought.

    What say you?

  7. These measure .356. I'm using the Redding Competition seater.

I'll check before and after, although it won't be tonight. Going to the range tomorrow.

I'll load up a few before I go.

    Does 10 at 3.0gr N320 @1.16 sound right for a CZ 75 SP01? I measured 1.175 hitting the lands.

  8. post-19371-0-87072000-1386616473_thumb.jThese are definately not in the same league as shooting glasses, but as I posted on another forum, I bought a pair
of safety glasses with a 1.5 diopter on the bottom and TOP. They are clear. I used to use my regular glasses,
but I was afraid if anything happened, I would loose my eyesight. They are the 3M BX Dual Reader Protective safety glasses. These allow me to see the front sight very clearly at arms legnth.
I also purchased stick-on 1.25 lenses. The brand is Hydrotac. I have them on a pair of clear safety glasses. Only on the top right side. They have a curvature that needs to mate with the curvature of the glasses. I put mine on the
inside of the lens. What a difference. Some people say that they fall off, but I have'nt had the problem. Maybe they were installing them wrong?

  9. I guess I forgot to do this. I've been here for quite a while, but have'nt posted much.

    Just wanted to introduce myself.

What a great wealth of knowledge and information here!

Lots of great people that want to help also.

I wanted to wait until I had some knowldge to share with others.

I think I'm ready to jump in here now and then.

    Thanks for having me!

    Merry Christmas to all.
