If its doing it with all 4 of your mags and not really at any predictable round in the mag I would say your either riding the slide lock up with your thumb our the slide lock has a problem at the mag.

Lead does not leach through your skin. You either inhale it ie indoor ranges or tumbler dust or your ingesting off your hands. So don't breath tumbler dust, shoot a bunch indoors or stick lead contaminated fingers in orifices and your should be fine. honestly if it was that easy to get harmful doses you would have a lot of competitive shooters showing lead poisoning issues.

For a comp gun the Gray Guns kit would be fine, but for a carry gun send it to robert, outline exactly what you would like then pay the money it takes to get it. Liability is nothing to mess with in a carry gun.

147grn fp coated from missouri bullet company, 3.5 gr of zip with 1.145 oal.
My ppc load with a 125grn fp with the same charge of zip and 1.125 oal would not even pop the slide open when it was new. Now it will cycle the gun but the brass just falls out. Now that its broken in I have springs and a new guide rod on the way to get it to run better with the 125 load.

Fouling or?
in Sig
Lewis lead remover or take a copper chore boy scrub pad and pull out strips to wrap into your bore brush. Either way its lead and its gonna take some elbow grease to get it out. Whatever coated bullets your using something in that load needs to change or its just gonna keep doing it.

Its not suprising, strong trigger reset is not really a priority for the crowd those kits are aimed at. Hopefully there will be PC specific parts in the near future. Still miles better than any AR trigger in the same price range.

Personally I would just run the brimstone trigger if you want an overtravel stop. So much cleaner install, hammers and sears seem to vary, some are happy with the ones they used others not so much. My Power Custom set was great in a 10/22 but has a small amount of creep when installed in the PC and I would definetly not recommend using the 10/22 hammer spring. The weight differnce in the pull is tiny and the PC spring gives a more positive reset without the chance of it doubling on you or the hammer getting bounced off the sear and not resetting. Right now I have about 3k through mine and its starting to have ejection issues. Gonna order a new extractor from ruger if they have them and see how bad the tip is worn on mine. Right now its losing control of the case when the ejector hits and instead of pivoting out of the gun its hitting the forward section of the reciever. Sucks because this thing was dead reliable for 2k plus rounds.

Now that's interesting. My issue wasn't nearly as bad as yours sounds, but it was definitely sear induced as once the striker fell all grittiness and noise went away. The fact yours acts differently depending on how far the slide cycles is awfully strange. Hope they get you squared away soon. But yea, after explaining what was happening the first thing he said was just sent the sear in, no need for anything else. He did lead me to believe sear returns would get some priority and turnaround time should be short. I asked about a time frame with this thread in mind knowing some guys have been waiting on shipping for a while. Sent mine back priority mail with signature confirmation, should be there Tuesday, got my fingers crossed for quick resolution.
Maybe the differnce between email and talking on the phone. I may try and call them today.

Mine was pretty awful as well. You can tell a lot of thought went into the kit but the sear interface just kills the whole deal. Mine has so much grit in the takeup that there is a false break of about 2.5 pounds before the actuall 3 pound break. Funny if you just barely pull the slide back enough to reset the pull is great. Cycle the slide all the way back and its a disaster. Guess the stock sear will have to go back in for this weekend.
Funny when I emailed I was never given the option to send back just the sear they wanted the whole gun?

Sounds like your left eye dominant. I have the same problem and
found this style sight at Sportsmans when I went looking for one
for my 1100.

The small length of tubing behind the bead keeps your left eye from seeing the
bead while allowing your right eye to see it clearly. It helps quite a bit, but
there is still a small amount of double vision.
Question about Holosun 510C

Bad news with the Ruger is unless your running a really low optic on a rear sight style plate its gonna require some sort of comb raise to get your eyes level with the optic. Its just the nature of that stock design. The good news is there are several adjustable pieces that will fix the problem for good and allow you to run almost any optic you want. Mines from Mathew Fabrication and works perfect behind a C-more.
