We have plenty of room in the match if anyone still wants in. Even in the Post match two day schedule.
-
It will be business as usual, no fees. Open parking on the range.
-
Still room to sign up! 30 stages in 3 days, not to mention it is the same stages as the World Shoot.
Stage construction is underway, you can follow Universal on the tweeter, facebook or instagram for daily photo updates.

Contest over...we have a winner!
I'd like to thank Steve Yeater for donating the slot. He was registered then something came up and he cannot shoot. He didn't want a refund, he asked me to donate the slot to a junior shooter.
Thanks Steve!!

I posted this on our facebook page today, thought I would post it here also. Any and all information or comments welcome and appreciated.
USA is seriously considering starting a new IDPA club the first of next year. I have talked with the FL Section Coordinator to get the ball rolling.
What I need from our followers are suggestions on which days of the month would be best so as not to step on other popular IDPA matches in the vicinity.
I will also need a few (many) certified SO's willing to help get the match going. I believe according to the new rules we will need a certified SO for each squad even on local matches. Learning the new rules however.
And....what do you like in your IDPA match? Types of targets, difficulty level, round counts, positional work, heavy props, light props, etc.? -
Thanks for all the great comments.
Match is on for next year.......in March!!
Probably the first weekend but will get info out later in the year.

I have video of my limited baseball run, but left my camera at work. Will get it up this week.
Hot Shots was there following Max also, I'm sure they will put a good package together.

Thank to Phil and crew for putting on a great match as usual. I had a decent lead going into stage 6 then this happened. Put me behind and I made up ground on the 7th stage putting Max, Eric and I tied going into the baseball stage. Good drama.
I was up first with Eric then Max following. Going for it was a risky move, don't think anyone made it in the match. Not with getting all the plates along the way anyway. I decided to take the safer route and not hand the match over to them. Let them chase. I cleaned the stage straight up. They both went for the win. Eric almost made it....missing the final target. He mistakenly dropped a mag starting a reload so he only had one shot and missed. Max went for it as well but picked up an overtime shot on the final plate taking him out.
You don't get many chances to go up against the two best open shooters on the planet, not to mention all the other pros. All great competitors, champions and friends. Definitely a win I won't forget.
I didn't fare as well in Limited but glad my buddy Bob took the win. Also exciting, tied with Eric after the match and had to go to a shoot off. Less than 3/4 of a second decided the winner. This is a pretty awesome match, if you haven't attended you should put it on your calendar.

Sorry for the delay, was busy with getting the match rolling. Guess you figured it out, but not much distance.

Lots of new info posted today.
Only a few spots remaining in the match.

Pistols and long guns un-bagged only at safe table or at car?
Got some clarification on this.
Moving long guns to carts, strollers, golf carts, etc at vehicles is ok. If unbagging need chamber flag and obviously no mag, watch sweeping the parking lot, etc. Reserve pistol holstering for the safe area.
I will have more rule info and such on the website hopefully this week but by next week for sure.
Thanks!

Awesome. That really looks great! Thank you.
Are you shooting the match?

Did some maintenance on the sign up roster today. Opened up all the reserved slots and increased squad sizes by 1. Little more room to sign up now and/or shuffle around if anyone wants to.
We are getting close to full, spread the word for me please!
Also I could use a few more staff. I currently have enough but like to have extra to lessen the work load a little. If anyone is interested in working please let me know!
Thanks.

Get pumped!!! There's still 49 slots available
Thats a cool video. Who did it?

Pistols and long guns un-bagged only at safe table or at car?
I'll check on that Mike. Not positive how USPSA handles that. Will get with RM for decision.
I will have on the website by end of next week virtual match book, stages, rule clarifications, additional info, etc.
-
Will stages be close enough to use push carts? or should we plan to use cars to move around and stow gear
Jade is correct, carts are good.
No vehicles on the range anyway....no where to park down range.

4moa - 12" @ 300 I've never shot a target that big at 300 except for Larue's. 12" at 300 you should get free cigars and 6 packs from all the iron shooters
In that case they will be 24" targets!!
Yuengling please.
You bailed. Larues @ 400 are about 2.5 moa. No Yuengling for you.
Width maybe. (actually 2.875ish)
Height however is 5 MOA.
I prefer the regular lager over the light.

Everything is running great. Smaller than we had hoped but seems like everyone is enjoying it.
Still room for Friday Saturday if anyone wants to jump in.
KC was up about 20 on Eric in open at the end of yesterday.
Results are scrolling fine for me, not sure why you're having trouble.
