I'm pretty sure I meant 1.120. I think I was looking at some open recipes and saw several 1.2 COL and 4.7gr. This would be for a stock G22.
Maybe 1.120 and 4.2gr TG would be be a better start.

I've looked at quite a bit of load data however, many do not mention if they are using CMJ, FMJ, or JHP. Want to be sure and get in the right COL range. Any pet loads people can recommend for a .40 180gr MG JHP w/ Titegroup going out of a Glock 22?
I've noted 4.7gr TG and a COL of 1.20 (MG JHP) as a possible starting point, but want to be sure.

Sorry for the late reply, I had turned auto notify on but never got the notification of responses.
I believe I have this one figured out. I am using Hornady dies and the sizing die is touching the shell plate. That ring is where the die is stopping during resizing. Never the less that does not appear to be the problem.
Apparently we have some shooters at our range shooting 9mm MAJOR and really packing the powder in the cases causing the bulge. I ordered a EGW die yesterday which hopefully will catch these pieces of brass.
I loaded over 500 rds yesterday from brass picked up at a local IDPA match (no 9mm major) and didn't have a single issue with this bulging.

I've got one and am quite happy with it. Mine did have machining marks on arrival, wish it was mirroe smooth like the picture, but hasn't seemes to affect function.

I've used the Frankford (died in < than 6 months), the Hornady, and the Cabela/Berry's. Cabela/Berry's wins hands down. My only gripe is I wish the bowl was made of a little more durable plastic, mine is marred from the brass.

Built mine several months ago from a youtube video. Got a $4 "massager" off ebay and it works great. Usually load the tray up with 300 primers (100 in the tube) and am ready for 300 rds.

My load is a 124gr Montana Gold with 4.0grs of Titegroup behind it.
I'm not seeing any real accuracy past 100 yds no matter what load I use (even commercial).

Lately I have been having stuck rounds in my Glock 17. Real buggers to get disloged. One thing I noticed was all the stuck rounds had this ring near the rim.
It appears to be a bulge to me and this is after resizing. All of this is range pickup brass. I got about 10 of these out of the last 300+ I loaded. Never had an issue like this before the last few months and I have loaded several thousand rounds.
These rounds get stuck in the chamber and most times will not go into battery to be fired. I've gotten where I can spot them after loading, but I have been gauging most of my reloads till this is sorted out.
Are these just bad brass or is there a bigger issue?
PS: They seem to hang right on the line where the sizing die stops on the case.

I'm seeking a Solo 1000 230gr RN lead load. I'm thinking 4.5gr @ 1.25
I want to work up a few different loads for 230gr RN lead using Clays, Titegroup, and Solo 100 (my 3 inventory powders). Currently using 4.0gr Clays (plain) @ 1.125 OAL with a lead 230gr RN and I can't complain.
Once I get several worked up I am heading out for a day of testing/chronoing.

I used to load the Hornady H35597 (.355) 9MM 147GR FMJ-RN ENC bullet. I really like this bullet for a couple of reasons, it was FMJ, round nose and fully encapsulated (no lead exposed). It also had something like a boat tail on it making it easier to reload. This was just a good all around accurate, easy to load bullet. This was my IDPA bullet. The problem is Hornady has stopped making it. I've used Montana Gold's which are pretty good, but I still miss those Hornadys.
Anyone have a suggestion for something close?
