I leave the powder in both my 550 and 650 and have for years without any issues
and my reloading room is in my walkout basement.

Welcome to the forum, I'm just getting started myself.

I say either a mag is legal or not legal......... what's this about SNL? Does the mag have to fit in the gauge 100% or just be close..... to be legal? I have a 170mm mag that has a base pad that says SNL........... I tried to fit the mag in the gauge and it won't quite go all the way in. I say it is illegal............. which begs the question............. why put a base pad on a mag that says SNL? When would be a good time for me to use my illegal mag? Maybe practice or little matches? When is "Sometime"?
Someone please straighten me out on this thing called Sometime Not Legal.......... Thanks

If you're ever in the Northern Illinois area Tri County Gun Club in the
Northern Illinois Section has a 3 gun match on the 4th Sunday of every
month from April thru October. Its 5 pistol stages, 2 shotgun and 2
rifle all for $25 and that includes a free lunch. They have been doing
that for several years. You can shoot the Pistol for $15 including
lunch or shoot the Shotgun/Rifle for $10 including lunch. Pistol in the
AM and long guns in the PM.

I use only cloth patches and oil to clean my pistol barrel.

I just bought Steve Anderson's Refinement and Repetition book............. I haven't noticed any change in my shooting.............. Maybe I should open the book and start doing the drills?

After reading all of these posts, I just ordered Steve Andersons book on Dry Firing....... from Brian Enos............. I expect to be a GM within 3 months........

Really enjoyed this article.......I've wondered and worried about "calling the shot" for a long time...... The first couple years shooting IPSC, I had no idea what people were talking about when they mentioned calling the shot....... will read all the posts again..........
I'm basically brand new to the forum so this may not even go anywhere..........

Short 40 and WST
in 10mm/40 Caliber

I have a shooting buddy that uses 4.4 grs of WST in his practice loads
and has for years. He uses N320 for matches, mainly because WST
is an inverse powder. To explain, inverse powders are temperature
sensitive; the hotter the air temp the lower the velocity, etc.
