hey folks, i am loading 45 acp with clays and rainiers 230 gr jhp. i have found recipes but what you guys think. 1. 3.9gr of clays, 230 gr bullet and 1.25 oal (176 pf) and 2. 4.0 gr of clays, 230 gr bullet and 1.245 oal (168 pf) what are some recipes that people use for clays powder?

does anyone have a good recipe for the same powder but with rainier jhp 230gr?

I plan on using Winchester 231 but may switch to whatever is avsilable

hey folks, with alot of reloading supplies are out of stock, i am think of running a .452 diameter bullet instead a .451 bullet. what would be a good recipe? i am going to try to stay with a 230 grain bullet.

hey folks. i am going to be using a new bullet soon. i am switching from 230 gr cmj to a 230 jhp. i will be using montana gold 230 jhp and winchester 231. does anyone have a recipe for this bullet and powder. i tried to look in my books and found nothing.

sweet. i just need to figure if my xd can handle the ammo. also i need to figure out what pound recoil spring that i need for it.

or do you guys think that i should just get +p ammo?

i do plan on hunting deer plus other animals. i was figuring that some use a 10mm for hunting, it would be nice to use the .45. i have shot coyote with the .45. i was figuring that times i just want to take the pistol instead of the rifle.

i know that this is a competition forumn but i am looking for a recipe for a load. i am looking to make a load for my xd 45 that has a velocity around 1200 fps. is there such a load? i was planning on using hornady 185 gr xtp hollow points. the factory loads that i use are a 1000 fps.

i use chip mccormick mags that are stainless steel. my mags move freely but i just want them to move slickly in and out of the gun. i use a silicone rag now. i also run it through the mag too. i always hear folks of polishing their mags so i was wondering how they did it. i would not mind a mirror finish but i want them to move freely.

i have a dremel that has a buffing wheel. would that work too?

What do you folks use or do to polish your mags? I am thinking about polishing mine,

That's a nice blaster. I will not do it to my limited 10 gun but when i get a new limited gun, i think that i willput it on.

When the 2013 limited/limited 10 rules go into effect, where would you mount the slideracker? It's not like you can mount it like an open gun.

i usually think about my stage plan. i try to clear my mind but there are times, mentally, where i am cursing at the steel that did not fall.

i tried to train today since i have the area 7 match coming up next month. i had to stop because my mindset was not there. i did not want to train badly. has anyone felt that way?

what do you do with an obnoxius shooter that is on your squad? i had shot a few matches with a guy that likes to run his mouth. it really gets annoying. i would have switched squads but i liked the other guys in the squad. he is guy that quits during a match because he is "bored"
