I just read in the new rules that competitors are required to sign scoresheets. The local club scores electronically (which I like.) Is there any provision for electronic signing or should the scoresheets be printed out and signed? Or, does IDPA not approve of electronic scoring?

I had the same thing happen with my CZ in the middle of a stage but didn't notice until I went to unload and show clear but if I'm SOing and see an integral part that holds the firearm together fall off I'm gonna stop the shooter and, as someone else said, sort it out later.

Our local club hosts a monthly rimfire only match loosely based on Steel Challenge that was so well attended we even held Thursday night matches every week through the summer. Sadly, the scarcity of ammo has put a damper on those but there's light at the end of the tunnel. Walmart had 5 boxes last week.

Whether the call was appropriate or not depends on a few factors. See Rule 3.6. It is only a courtesy but should not be called if the shot has already been fired (and penalty assessed.)

They do have some funny stuff. I don't know if it makes folks want to buy their insurance but it's definitely memorable.

if you have to look that close, the shooter gets the benefit of the doubt.
The new IDPA rulebook is already out.
Just read it. Refer to 11.2.8
This.
If you see or feel favoritism is being applied in scoring, complain to the MD, if its the MD doing it complain to HQ.
What he said. :-)

"it's a double"
My thoughts exactly.

I've done something like that on a stage where you could see some of the targets from multiple ports but not all. I engaged some of them twice and skipped others completely. Oh, well. A bad day shooting is still better than a good day at work.

Yes. This is covered by rule 8.6.3.6. "The shooter may wear additional speed loaders/moon clips behind the hipbone on the weak side or behind the holster."

I wish USPSA and IDPA could settle on one set of range commands to make things easier on those who shoot both.

Yup. Two sets of eyes are better than one.

CZ-75. Shoot one and you'll see why.

My favorite picture from the match:

So who won the dollar that was in the urinal in one of the porta-potties?
I am curious as to how a certain Ford truck that was burried up to its axles got un-stuck?
Post 271...Page 11...off road Jack.
Ok do any of yall remember the young lady working stage 8 in the rifle bay.
Thats the person that got the truck out with her off road jack.
she even had to show her dad how that thing worked.lol

That's my kinda gal. Best bet...she knows her weapons too!
That's my gal!! Of course, there was also another jack, two shovels, three 2x12s, a tractor and 4 other people involved in that rescue.
Is your carry platform same as competition platform?

I carry and compete (USPSA and IDPA) with a pre-B CZ-75.
