Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I am having trouble finding small pistol primers, and I can get small pistol magnum primers, can I use the magnum primers as if they were regular? Thank's Todd
  2. I am a new shooter and can't find any primers only have 2000, was wondering if I can substitute winchester small pistol magnum for winchester small pistol?
  3. Can any one tell me if there is such a thing as a computer program or calculator that can calculate load data that you put in the random info? I'm not finding very much load data for Clays in .40 cal. Thank's Wally
  4. Hank and Kevin, Thank you for the info, as of now I dont have a game, just practice try to hit the target. I have been looking at ipsc. But I think it will be a bennefit to get started in reloading. I'm just trying to get some info before I jump in, I can get 140 gr lead flat point for 46.75per 1000 and175swc or 180fp for 59.00 per 1000 and was not sure if I need the heavier bullets for practice or if I should pick one and stay with it. and I have the clays left over so now I need to just buy the equipment. Kevin ,I'll make sure I have the straight clays as well. Thank You all for the help if you have any other advise I'm all ears. Todd w.
  5. Hello, I'm new to reloading and also new to this forum. I noticed you were using clays, I have several pounds of clays left over from my skeet shooting days and didn't know if I could use it to load pistol cartridges or not. I'll be loading .40s&w and i'm not sure of what weight bullet to use (140gr.-180gr.etc.) I would like to use cast lead if it wont lead up my barrel. I have a springfield XDm as far as I know lead bullets should be ok. The last thing, I don't know what you guys mean by minor or major. Thank you for any help Todd W.
