[New Shooter trying to figure it out]

Tell me, why do you have to sacrifice points. Going faster doesn't require losing points. Start learning to get between shooting positions faster while keeping the gun up. Reloads high. Shooting SS requires lots of reloads so practice to get the reloads done faster. Just a few ideas. If you get caught up in the mind game that to speed up requires sacrificing points your going down the wrong path.

There probably is a lot of time left on the range with my movements. I have been overly cautious as to not get dq'ed while just starting. So myabe taking the same time on my shots to start with and moving more effectivly

So, I have been shooting SS for 3 months now. and finishing about mid-pack in the shoots I have shot in. My question is I am getting better hits than the guys beating me but I am slower.

When do you sacrifice accuracy for time. It seems that the guys finishing ahead of me are 2-12 seconds faster with lesser points.

What is the balance.
