  1. +1 for the Nordic Components upper. I have the 18" version and they even sell rails so you mount a vertical fore-grip etc. I set mine up similar to my Noveske 18" upper so you have same handling characteristics. Same trigger pull don't even have to think about it. Only problem is once I got a Swaro Z6i for the Noveske that Aimpoint on the Nordic isn't as fun. Can't go wrong with BDM either. Nordic shoot's everything I feed it especially Wally world bulk packs!!!

  2. Remington 5R in .308 to start and Bushnell makes a decent FFP(First Focal plane) Mil/Mil scope. Set that rig up the way you like and shoot, shoot, shoot to make sure that's the game you want to get into. Long range shooting is very addicting especially out to 1K yards.

Or go big and get Accuracy International AW or new AX top it with a Schmidt and Bender scope and dont look back!

Buy once Cry once but it will last you forever

  3. How many mags do you all typically have for Limited class? How many back up mags should you keep in your personal inventory? Just got a 2011 in 9mm and all the mags run perfectly right out of the package no tweaking needed whatsoever. Have a few mags in 126,3 in 140mm, and 2 on the way in 170. Just trying to figure out what I need to get started so please excuse my NEW guy question. Eventually would like to get started in 3 gun when I grow up. Thanks for any info you all may have!

  4. Carbine 1.5 was one of the most eye opening classes I've ever taken. Shooting the AR type rifle from every position imaginable and shooting from both sides R/L was amazing. If there's ever an opportunity to train with Kyle , make it happen well worth it and bring lots of ammo. Going to the east coast this summer for the Streetfighter course and Night Fighter in Nov.
