If you have not already sent in your application, you are in luck. When the match date was changed from the 2nd weekend to the 4th, they forgot to change the date when the match fees go up. You can still register at the lower rate until March 15th. The online match application has been changed to reflect that fact also.
Hurry up and get those applications mailed before the fees go up!
Isn't it the 5th weekend?

And they can't add more than 2 oz.s to they weight of the gun.

OK..bulk ammo aint cheap even bulk...anyone care to share a nice load for Production class shootin 5 in Tactical XD?
I load for rifles and have never loaded for handguns so have all the relaoding stuff except dies unless more is needed than I dont know about...
Most of the pistol shooter migrate to a Dillon progressive reloader for the high output and quality.
The low end of that is a Dillon Square Deal B (pistol only, proprietary dies). It will crank out a nice 300-400 rounds in a sitting.
Many like the Dillon 550 for it value. It's progressive, but you index it by hand.
The Dillon 650 gets you back into auto-indexing and the case feeder option kicks things into high gear. I've run mine at an easy 800 rounds in 45 minutes (having had 8 primers tubes).
Then there is the monster 1050...add in an after-market bullet feeder and approach 2000 an hour (if you can feed it materials fast enough).
In a pinch, I could see loading 200 rounds on a good old Rock Chucker. I've even known a guy to load his play ammo on one of those hand-held units from Lee.
The Winchester 100 round val-u-paks at Wal-mart used to be the best deal around. They probably still are (just more than we were paying a year or two ago), but shop the local sporting goods stores for specials.
Yeah, and you can find them HERE!!!!!!

I recieved the e-mail and sat astonished for about 10 minutes. Tony was absolutely one of the nicest/friendliest people in the sport and the World. I was wondering, just yesterday, where he was and why I hadn't seen him in a while. This news is heart wrenching.
Our prayers for his families comfort a well being in this time of mourning.

My only question is: Can you shoot off of his back?

This is the anniversery of the Waco Texas, Branch Davidian raid. Guess the BATF wanted to celebrate.

"People were shocked at how many firearms were removed from the building"
It's a firearms manufacturer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stupidity runs rampant during campaign/election time.
-
These stories always flood the news around campaign/election time. When you go back through the records though you'll find that they aren't happening any more frequently now than any other time they're just being reported more.

Yes you can but I wouldn't recommend it. I've had two shooters D.Q. themselves while I was R.O.ing them due to letting one go while manually lowering the hammer.
Steve is dead on with his post, by the way.

Sounds like you're looking for a challange to me, if so, then I say shoot Production. Stage break down for mag changes, Splits, Transitions, Movement etc. etc. PLUS!!!!.............Minor Scoring.
Or just shoot whatever fancies ya. The more guns in the safe the better.

I have a B-T DOH for my Production and Limited guns and if I ever decide to shoot Open I'll see if I can get one made for that gun as well.
Blade-Tech all the way. Simple and perfect.

My A card should be hopefully arrive soon as well (if the calculator is reasonably accurate)
Hopefully that will put an end to all the sandbagging comments...
Yeah, I kept getting those jabbs as well (all in good humor........I think ) But when I had to shoot the Florida Open as a 'B' shooter because of a snafoo with a classifier not getting sent in in time and I came in 5th 'B' and would have came in 2nd 'A' if I could have shot in that class, me being a sandbagger got nipped in the bud.

A big Cowboy hat would help tremendously too.

Elbow pads are needed to complete the ensamble.

Another "Mall Ninja" super secret tactic that I've heard of is to shoot yourself in the leg as you draw your gun so that the enemy will slip on your blood as their trying to chase you.
-
I found the ULTIMATE MALL NINJA GUN for sale on gun broker. Every Mall Ninja should have one.

Turtle/Amoeba targets like the Open too?
I hope not. I don't like P.C.

Bigbad....soooo what are you waiting for? Your only limiting yourself. I've shot with you for years now. You know you can make A class, I know you can make A class, everyone else knows you can make A class, so relax, trust and believe in yourself and shut up and do it. Your way over due for it.
I just had to stop believing I was a 'B' class shooter. I'm now 'A' class Production.
-
Made 'A' class in Production division.
I believe that a big part of the move up had to do with the fact that I stopped believing I was a 'B' class shooter.

I disagree with the statement "It is not specified in the rule book."
9.6.1 After the Range Officer has declared “Range is Clear”, the competitor
or their delegate will be allowed to accompany the official responsible
for scoring to verify the scoring.
Since your score is your points divided by your time the statement "to verify the scoring" gives the shooter the right to review the timer.

I remember Eustis Gun Club doing the same thing a few years back and I've read about a lot of others and in 95% of the cases it's Shotgunners who initiate it. Sorry if this offends anyone but facts are facts and if you don't like it then change it. We are all in this together so when you go after someone elses sport just remember it when the 'Antis' come after yours.

Let's see how much 'Mall Ninjas' in you....

Yes. You can use a .40 upper on a 9mm frame and visa/versa also.
